SNAP 2026 registration is set to open in the first week of August 2026 at snaptest.org. The exam will be held on December 6, 14 and 20, 2026. Candidates can attempt the test up to three times for MBA admission.
The Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, is set to open registrations for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026 on the official website at snaptest.org. As per official information available on the SNAP portal, the application window is expected to open in the first week of August 2026 and close on November 20, 2026.
SNAP is the mandatory entrance test for admission to academic session 2027-29 to 17 Symbiosis Institutes across India. These include flagship campuses such as the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune and the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD). The test offers 29 MBA programme specialisations and is conducted in 79 cities across the country.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate required is 50 percent. Candidates from the SC, ST and PwD categories need 45 percent.
Students currently in the final year of their undergraduate programme are also eligible to register. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat has not set any upper or lower age limit for SNAP 2026.
SNAP 2026 Application Fee
Applicants must pay two separate fees to complete the SNAP 2026 application. The fees are non-refundable and payable online.

Payment can be made through online gateways such as Billdesk or Easebuzz. A demand draft favouring the Symbiosis Test Secretariat, payable at Pune, is also accepted. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat has clarified that paying only the test fee does not make a candidate eligible for shortlisting in any programme.
How to Apply for SNAP 2026?
The application form will be hosted on the official SNAP portal. Candidates should keep their academic documents, photograph, signature and a working email ID ready before they begin.

- Click on the Register button and accept the terms.
- Complete the online form with personal and academic details.
- Verify the account through the OTP sent to the registered email and phone.
- Note down the SNAP ID and password generated by the system.
- Select the preferred test dates and the institutes or programmes.
- Pay the test fee and the programme registration fee online.
SNAP 2026 Exam Structure
SNAP 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode on three separate test dates. Candidates may appear in up to three attempts. The highest score among the attempts will be used to calculate the final percentile.
The Symbiosis Test Secretariat has stated that scores will not be normalised across the three test slots. Each shortlisted candidate will then move to the institute-specific selection rounds.
SNAP is one of the few national MBA exams that lets candidates attempt the test three times in a single cycle. The best of three scores counts for percentile calculation. This format gives applicants room to improve without waiting for the next admission year.
