Step-by-Step NID M.Des DAT Main 2026 Confirmation Process
Step 1: Financial Settlement
The candidate must first pay the mandatory token amount to initiate the seat acceptance. This payment is subject to additional convenience charges depending on the bank or payment method used.
- General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD Candidates: INR 52,400
- Overseas Candidates: INR 1,19,665
Step 2: Document Preparation
The candidate is required to prepare scanned copies of all essential records. Each document must be saved as a separate PDF file and must not exceed a file size of 2 MB.
Required Documents include:
- Valid Photo Identity (e.g., Passport, Aadhaar, etc.)
- Degree Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- 10th and 12th Grade Marksheets
- Migration Certificate
- Category Certificate (if applicable for EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD)
Step 3: Document Upload
Once the files are prepared, the candidate must upload them to the official portal. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure that all scans are legible and correctly categorized.
Step 4: Review and Final Submission
Candidates maintain the ability to review, replace, or modify their uploaded documents at any time until the deadline. However, once the clock strikes midnight on May 7, 2026, the portal will close.
Upon successful document verification, NID will issue provisional offer letters of admission to qualified candidates. Round-02 of seat allotment will be conducted on vacant seats, with eligible candidates notified via registered email IDs in order of merit.
The final admission process includes document verification, provisional offer letter issuance, and subsequent counselling rounds.
Candidates must ensure all submitted information matches their application forms to avoid candidature cancellation.
