CDOE NBU Admission 2026 Open For B.Com & MA Programs

University of North Bengal, Centre of Distance and Online Education, Siliguri, popularly known as CDOE NBU, has announced an application for admission to M.A.in English, Bengali, Nepali, History, Philosophy, Political Science, & Mathematics, and B.Com under Open & Distance learning (ODL) mode for the academic session January 2026.

According to the official website, candidates must complete their 3-year UG programs and 4-Year UG programs within a span of 5 and 7 years, respectively.

CDOE NBU Eligibility Criteria

For the B.Com program, a candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2 or old 11th class) examination in Commerce, Science, or Vocational stream from WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE, or any recognised board/university. Applicants should have passed at least four subjects, with English as a compulsory subject, excluding Environmental Studies/Science/Education.

For the M.A. programmes in English, Bengali, Nepali, History, Philosophy, Political Science, or Mathematics must hold a B.A. degree in the relevant subject. Eligible qualifications include B.A. (Honours), B.A. (Pass/General) under the 10+2+3 or old 11+3 pattern, or a two-year B.A. degree with a one-year Bridge Course from a recognised university. Postgraduate subjects should be chosen based on the discipline-specific or elective courses studied at the undergraduate level.

Furthermore, after the completion of these programs, candidates will be awarded a degree certificate.
