Good Placement and good faculty along with all the necessary lab equipments
Cheap and affordable fee structure and no additional fees
Friendly environment and everything is surrounded by greenery

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure and less maintenance of accessories.
Since there is no attendance criteria, students often skips the college
Lack of variety and hygiene in canteens .

Admission:

I have applied for many colleges like LD , Nirma and DAIICT but I didn't got admission in that college, I didn't choose this college over others it was the only best option. Yes , I did get rejection from other colleges because of less marks.

In information technology department the proffecer is so strict for student futurer
In this college the students are getting good placement from it and cse branches and for other branches it will be remain same

Dislikes

Big campus but the infrastructure of college is not so good as compare to any other good colleges
The hostel food of college is so poor and the hostel is not so good
In some classroom the fans are not working even the windows are cracked

Admission:

This collge is rank 4th in gujarat in government colleges. In my merit this college is the best for me because it situated in ahmedabad such a big metro city. And i am getting one of the best branch in engineering is information technology. So i choose that college. Here is some better college than this but my merit is not applicable for that colleges and other colleges that do not required the good merit is not so good as i want and here are good placement rate students getting good packages and yes it is what i want .

In my college there labs are well equipment and cleaning. The faculty is well-qualified and their teaching style is best.
They expalined hard problem or topic in easy way and remeber easily. Our mentor is all help in our problems.

Dislikes

In my college canteen food is not so good, and sitting area is very small and so many grass in open ground.
washrooms is very dirty and very bad smelly through whole day

Admission:

I choose this college because my dream college is LD engineering college, but i not get enough marks and i am coming middle class family so i do not want to go in privet college, and someone said me Ld college's placement and Vgec's placement above 90% equal , so i choose this college.

I am in now first semester i try to connect faculty, HOD , etc. They respect us and answer very honest and tell what we do , And Their teaching style is very good . they explain hard topic in easily , when we do not understand they explain again.
Faculty is Highly qualified and in college there are many clubs like robotics club, etc. For women empowerment they make personal women rooms.
In my college they always informed about compitation and programms

Dislikes

In my college they are not playground for cricket, basket ball, soccer, etc. In my college canteen their food is very stale.
In my college toilet it always very dierty and bad smelly

Admission:

I chose this college because this institute is near from my hometown and this college faculty and placements is equally to LD college. I apply LD college in computer branch but I am not selected , So i chose this ,and also i want to join coding classes in Ahmedabad. the admission process of this college is maintained by ACPC .This merit rank is decided by Gujcet and Board PCM marks.

here boys ratio is grater than girls some branches have more girls like CS,IT. in this college faculty is educated, experinced. some time faculty is encorage for hacathone , other events and skill developement. faculty's nature is good.
in campus structure is very old and not very good. this campus is very eco-freendly.
the biggest advantage is very affordable. and provide scholarship. here some time faculty is encourage us to participation every skill development activity.

Dislikes

here placement is not enouph.training cell is not proper.
some labs have not enough equipment. and some computer lab not proper working.wi-fi is not vailable.here library is not proper.
on campus hostel seat is very low.sport facilities and other activities are not good. for making a orientation not enough place and not proper auditorium.

i chose vishwakarma engineering collge , ahmedabad. mainly because under gtu and offers a very good learning environment at a very afordable fee. i had also applied to other college ;like L.D. engineering college, nirma ,ddu and other. instead of this i choose a vgec because of its reputation , government status and value of money. compared to private colleges, vgec has much lower fees while still providing good academics, decent placement and a safe campus. even through L.D was my first choice, the cutoff was slightly higher that year, so i could not make it there and vgec became the next best option. the admission process through acpc . the aligibility is 12 th science with jee or gujcet scores.

Decent college with room to grow

In my branch the faculty is honestly very involved with us.They actually push us to grow and keep bringing new opportunities like hackathons and compititions. Whenevre we get stuck,they guide us properly.The teaching quality is also good .
The overall environment on cumpus is friendly. people don't act weird about branch, gender or cast. everyone mix well,and ther is good unity between us.it makes day-to-day campus life easier like you can talk to anyone without hesitation.
Our faculty tries their best during placement season. They guide us about what to prepare.,and keep motivating us to build projects and improve skills.So overall placement cell is active.

Dislikes

THe infrastructure needs improvement.Simple things like fans are slow,classrooms look old, and there are no proper place for events.Even the events organised are very basic and not exiting.
sometime it gets a littele hard to deal with the faculty beacause they are government staff, so you can't really argue with them or put your point strongly.A few times it feels like students are not fully heard.
Even though the teachers try their best,I still feel the placements are not at the level we actually deserve. level w

i applied to DDU along with VGEC. I did't get any rejections from anywhere,i just had to choose between the two.DDU is a private college so fees are higher and i also heard from the seniors that their attendance rulke are really strict.i fe;t i wholdn't get the feww time for the self learning. that is tha main reason i did not choose DDU.the time for exploring more skills mttered more to me that fancy college and vishwkarma govenment engeeniring college is a govenmnet college so the fees are less and i has more free time to learn new skills and to explore more things. the admision precess of VGES is simple via the ACPC. you jsut need to coode the coure you want and the college you want and then you will get the result according to merit.I has 2000 rank in ACPC merit so i got IT without any issue.there is no seprate interview pr exams for admission.Eligibility is the based one 12th board gujcet and jee merit.THe cutoff depends on the branch but for IT it is littele bit higher. Overall the admission exprience was simpke beacude the whole process is online and you just need to fill the data and keep track of the dtes.i chooes VGES mostly beacuse of the fees and attendance criteria.

Vishwakarma government engineering college the better government colleges.

Likes

the infrastructure is very unique that i never seen in my life in any college.
the quality of campus life and the social interaction is very good the students are free to go anywhere and free to do anything.
the teachers are very humble and friendly . and they are well qualified .

Dislikes

the classes needs to change the fans and switchboard. and need to increase the hostel rooms.
the teachers are not enough for all students. my EI department is shred with another IC department and most importent we don't have teachers for 5 semester in 4 subjects not a visiting faculty
the campus placements are not good for same branchs and very good for some branches like IT.

i applied GEC modasa and i got the seat but the enviroment of sturdy is not good so i canceled the admission. i also applied for LD college but i applied in 3rd round but the seats are full so i don't get admission. the GUJCET and JEE is the exams for selection.and i got 10057 rank in gujcet .

no wifi in rooms and no lans also slow network in lib
Library has not all the books which we require

I applied for ldce too but vgec life is better There were no seats left in ldce Vgec had seats left and is on top after ldce Admission process is simple through acpc Which manages all the admission processes

A nice story of a nice college

Likes

All the professor that are in EC branch are very good.
Website of my college is very good and defined for student use
There are many fest like things are occurring every another day.

Dislikes

In many classroom lights and fan are not working and are not in proper condition.
Some places of campus is not very clean.

Admission:

LDCE the other college I want to go but my rank is not sufficient for it so I chose VGEC. And my 2nd choice is VGEC only if I don't get add in LDCE and I get add in VGEC. The admission process of my college is only through ACPC only and the cutoff is around 3900 rank this year

Likes

MY overall experience at VGEC has been a mix of academic growth exposure to real-world technical learning and steady personal development.
The faculty members are well qualified with deep subject knowledge and a supportive attitude. Professors encourage student to participate in GTU innovation council, project competitions and research activites which helps in developing analytical.
one of the biggest advantages of VGEC is its very low tuition fee making it one of the most economical engineering colleges in the state.

Dislikes

The placement cell is functional but not as strong as top private or autonomous institutes.
While the campus area is large some labs and classrooms require upgrading in equipment and cleanliness.
The library is well stocked but digital learning resources could be improved.

Admission:

I chose VGEC for its good reputation affordable fees and strong placement record. I also applied to LDCE and GEC gandhinagar but got admission here due to cutoff rank. Asmission is through ACPC based on GUJCET merit. The process was transparent and smooth with clear counseling roinds.
