GUJCET Answer Key 2026

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will release the GUJCET 2026 Answer key within 7–10 days after the exam, which is expected around 6-8 April 2026.

  • Before releasing the GUJCET Final Answer Key, a provisional Answer Key is released.
  • It helps the candidates in estimating their percentile even before the result is announced.
  • The candidates can object the answer key if they are not satisfied with the calculation of their marks.

How to Calculate the GUJCET Score by using Answer Key?

To calculate the GUJCET score you should know about the Marking Scheme of the GUJCET 2026 exam.

You will get 1 Mark for every correct answer and -0.25 for every incorrect answer, and there is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions.

Response Type Marks
Correct Answer +1
Incorrect Answer -0.25
Unattempted 0

Use the Official Formula: Score = (Correct × 1) − (Wrong × 0.25)

From your response sheet or memory:

  • Total correct answers
  • Total incorrect answers
  • Leave unattempted (no impact)

Example Calculation

Parameter Value
Correct Answers 78
Wrong Answers 24

Score = 78 – (24 × 0.25)

Score = 78 – 6

Your Final Score = 72 marks

Scoring 72 marks means that you are likely in the top ~10–15% of candidates.

GUJCET Merit Calculation

The Final GUJCET Merit is calculated by considering 50-50% of GUJCET Scores and Class 12 PCM/PCB scores.

Component Weightage
GUJCET Score 40%
Class 12 PCM/PCB 60%

GUJCET Result 2026

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) is expected to release the GUJCET 2026 results 25–35 days after the exam, likely in late April or early May 2026, around 30 April 2026.

  • The candidates will be able to check and download their results on the official website - gujcet.gseb.org/ by entering their six-digit seat number.
  • The results will include the candidate's score, percentile rank, and other related details.

GUJCET Marks vs Percentile 2026

The GUJCET Marks vs Percentile means the relationship between the marks you score in the exam and your position compared to other students.

As per the GUJCET Marks vs Percentile Analysis by Chintan Akhani, a small difference of just 2–3 marks between 110–115 leads to a sharp percentile jump.

  • Scoring above 100 marks can place you in the 96 - 99.5th percentile, giving a strong chance of getting a good rank around the top 2000 and better colleges.
  • Most students score between 80 and 100 marks, which makes this range very competitive.
  • Small mistakes in the 90 to 110 range can drop your percentile quickly, so accuracy is very important.
  • Scores below 70 are considered low and may reduce chances of getting into top colleges.
GUJCET Marks (Out of 120) Expected Percentile Performance Level

GUJCET Cutoff 2026

The GUJCET Cutoff 2026 analysis shows that competition will be very high, especially at the top-level ranks.

  • The top government colleges require a rank of top 100-500, where students need around 112-115+ marks with an expected percentile of 99+.
  • Scoring marks around 110+ can provide a good chance for top colleges like LD, VGEC and DAIICT with a percentile around 98+
  • A mark range of 105–108 can place you in the top 2000, and can still get you into decent government colleges.
  • Most students fall in the 95–110 marks range, where even small differences in marks can change ranks a lot
