To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

If the admission of any Students is withdrawn the students must Cancel their hostel admission the students will get a refund amount of INR 5,000 after deduction from the total fees paid by Candidates. However, actual mess expenses, electricity, and water expenses are to be paid by candidates.

Merit & need-based scholarships like [your scholarship name] & financial aid exist to help.
The faculty is completely qualified with a lot of experience and expertise , has really good teaching skills, clears all the doubts and interacts with the students, is gentle and friendly with the students.
Srcc has like the best placement's in the whole of du best companies hishest-35 lpa average -10-12 lpa package i don't really plan to take the placements and go for higher eduaction for mba or data science

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not great as we thought and its not good as compare to the colleges like iit and iims
Hostel seats are limited. many students have to opt for pgs
Unavailability of lack of hostel facilities is a point of difficulty for me since a major part of my time is spent travelling to and from the college.

My college life.

Likes

I like the society culture at our college because it enhances our learnings outside classrooms.
The corporate world exposure in our college is unmatchable.

Dislikes

I think we need a good canteen with tasty food.

Placement Experience:

As soon as 3rd year starts, companies come and hire candidates from college, so before your college ends you have a job. Although highest package was 36 lacks per annum but average somehow is around 10 lacks per annum.

SRCC is very special college!!

Everyone's dream in India is to study at SRCC but including all the courses the number of students admitted every year is just 600.
From politicians like Arun Jaitley to News Anchor Rajat Sharma, they all have been alumnus of our college.
Economics Hons is a tough program so college has brought the best faculties to make it easier for us.

Dislikes

Sports arena is there but college doesnt value sports as it should be the case.

Placement Experience:

EY has been the biggest recruiter but Deloitte, Adani Enterprises and corporates like them have ensured smooth functioning of placements as B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) Students placements percentage is over 90%.

SRCC is very superb!!

Likes

Many movies too have been shot at our campus as our campus is an absolute livewire.
Many artists and actors too have come and promoted their music or upcoming movies.
If artists have come, politicians too need young guns so from our Foreign Minister to Transport Minister, they all too have come for seminars at our college.

Dislikes

Even if one has 0 interest in politics, he/she will have to develop it as it is more or less mandatory.

At SRCC I am still new but i checked the data of last year. In a batch of 120 around 70 studnets were placed and around 30 of them went for higher studies in Delhi School of Economics or GIPE. Some even went to LSE as such is the teaching at our campus that students have easily cracked LSE too.

SRCC truly means this in the terms of Excellent academics, Dedicated and inspiring faculty, lively and vibrant campus, great placement record, premier location, 60+ societies and the brightest student from all over country and neighbouring country.
It provides Library, smart boards, wifi facility, canteen, sports complex, beautiful ground xerox shop, stationery shop and what not.
There are 60+ societies for music, dance, painting, finance, consulting, etc. truly a place made for everyone.

Dislikes

SRCC only has two courses in undergraduate i.e. B.a economics hons and bcom hons which limits the students for exploring different fields compared to other multidisciplinary universities and colleges.

Heard of Srcc and not of its placement, isn't that impossible? Whether it's Google, Big 4, Microsoft, SBI or Zomato- everyone comes to this beautiful campus. The highest package of Srcc for undergraduate degree in 2024 was 35lpa and the average was 8.63lpa. It not only provides jobs but also provides internship opportunities to explore your field. Students are provided with 500+ offers for placement and 114+ offers for internships with different profiles in finance, consulting, etc. Student from 2nd year are eligible for internships.

SRCC is a paradise!!

Faculties of SRCC are so wonderful that even studies aside they help us get the real career guidance too.
At SRCC one thing which deserves a standing ovation is definitely the seniors as they are so amazing and always help us reach the best society and learn as much as we can through them.
Probably we are the only DU college that has a proper sports complex with multiple sports.

Dislikes

Students are allowed to choose societies in the first year itself as otherwise they are not allowed to join societies.

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

SRCC is arguably the best commerce college!!

No one can deny the fact that SRCC is best college to study Commerce in India.
Many students of here also prepare for CAT alongside pursuing graduation and also enters IIMs.
Ar SRCC you cannot sit idle as there are a lot of activities and assignments to be done in each semester.

Dislikes

In last few years other DU colleges has rose high and SRCC has lost some of its glory.

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

SRCC- An Insider View

Likes

The secludedness of SRCC is what I feel the best. It has only 2 courses at the undergrad level which creates a good environment without much rush.
The faculty is very helpful, knowledgeable and proactive and genuinely want to teach. This is at all UoD colleges.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvements and this is the case with all DU colleges.
The DUSU elections are a major let down for me as it creates havoc in the entire area and even classes are distributed

Placement Experience:

The college placements are quite good with highest packages going upto 36 lakhs. Although I am thinking to pursue Masters after this and not considering a placement just after undergrad. The college placements are pretty good but only for people who have worked hard and have good grades.

Likes

Infrastructure is very good. The library, classrooms are all air conditioned and the sports complex is the biggest highlight
The food facilities. We have 3 canteens, for example the Nescafe stall, amul stall and the super affordable srcc cafe
The faculty is very friendly and intelligent. They explain things and concepts very nicely and in a unique way

Dislikes

Probably that there are about 5 dogs in the campus and they just get into the classrooms and elsewhere
The washrooms gets very dirty and unhygienic sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content and structure is very good. Not only is it super practical, it takes a toll on the student to actually study in order to pass. Mugging up doesn't make a student pass in srcc. You need to study. Negatives are it is a very heavy course sometimes so we can't do a lot of societies with it that bcom students can do.

SRCC, A dream come true.

Likes

Faculty - The professors are very approachable and friendly. Alongside studies they are also good mentors.
Peers - A very competitive and pushing peer relationship.
Society -SRCC has a lot of societies which are very engaging and good place to meet people .

Dislikes

Academic focused - The college tends to give extra curricular very less attention.
Small campus - Not a lot of interesting things in college.

Students sit for internships in the end of second year. The highest and average package offered during SRCC placements 2024 stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 12.73 LPA, respectively. The infrastructure- with respect to government colleges, especially top DU colleges, SRCC has amazing infrastructure.

Dislikes

The canteen- the food could be improved, non vegetarian options could be included, and in general the vibe could be improved.

Placements start in the third year. Both course students sit for common placements. Various top MNCs visit and there are about 500+ offers in a year. According to the placement cell of the college, in 2023, highest package was 35LPA while the average was 10.15LPA.
