DU Results FAQs 2026
Ques. What should you do if your DU result is not declared yet?
Ans. You should regularly check the result notifications on the official DU exam website (exam.du.ac.in), as new results are released almost every week. Most odd semester results are expected by mid-April 2026. If your result is still not declared beyond the usual timeline, you should contact your college’s examination department for assistance.
Ques. What is the difference between DU Regular, NCWEB, and SOL results/date sheets?
Ans. Regular refers to full-time students enrolled in DU colleges (North or South Campus), with standard exam schedules and result timelines. NCWEB (Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board) is for women students, and its exams and results are conducted separately. SOL (School of Open Learning) follows a distance learning mode, with separate date sheets and results that are usually released slightly later than regular colleges.
Ques. If your University of Delhi result shows “RA” or “AB”, what should you do?
Ans. “RA” (Result Awaited) or “AB” (Absent) may appear due to delayed data updates after result announcements. This is a common issue in DU results and is usually temporary. You should first wait for 48 hours for the portal to sync your data. If the status still does not change, contact your college administrative office and submit your attendance sheet copy along with your admit card (signed by the invigilator). The college will verify your records and help resolve the issue.
Ques. How long does it take for DU revaluation results to be declared?
Ans. For the University of Delhi, revaluation results are typically released within 1 to 2 months after the application window closes. However, delays may occur due to the large number of applications. Students are advised to regularly check the Samarth Portal or the official DU website for the latest updates.
Ques. Can you get a photocopy of your evaluated answer script (DU)?
Ans. Yes, students of the University of Delhi can apply for a photocopy of their evaluated answer script. This is usually done along with the revaluation or rechecking process. To apply, check the latest notification on the official DU examination website (exam.du.ac.in) for the detailed procedure, deadlines, and applicable fees.
