Likes

Faculty members are very nice , the teacher classmates are very friendly
The canteen food is affordable tasty and hygenic which is good
The crowd is nice great exposure overall good environment

Dislikes

Small area of the college it can be a liitle big
The food prices can be a little more cheap for the students
Infrastructure can be a liitle more better

Admission:

The college environment is safe for girls as it is the only gurls clg also the wducaiin quality is good well trained teachers are there the faculty memeber are very nice so i liked it overall and i choose it

I choose this college firstly because it comes under university of Delhi and it has good academic reputation and affordable fees structure. The admission was through cuet process which was little time consuming. I applied to other colleges as well but because of my ranking and problem in my preference sheet i had to deal with all the issues

MSCW is Magical!

Mata Sundari College is run by Khalsa Community and everyone is treated equal here.
We also have a Gurudwara in our college and also langar is organized every month.
It's a girls college and there's no dress code as we have full freedom in whatever we want to wear.

Dislikes

Poor placements have made it a bottom ranked women's college.
Also, our college academic blocks doesn't have air-conditioners which most of the DU colleges now have it.

Admission:

CUET is a top level entrance and DU too a top level university and most colleges under it are among the top. I also wanted the best women's college of DU and that is LSR but with a score of 430 out of 800, only a few colleges were available and Mata Sundari was one of those. However, since I got the desired cpirs I took admission here otherwise I had confirmed admission at SXC Kolkata.

A college where dreams turn into reality

Likes

Experienced faculty which is plus point for us as it gives us good grasp of the topic also the teachers provide us with good handwritten notes which comes really handy to us for doing our final shot of revision before exams.
The college crowd. The crowd plays a crucial role in the make it break of the college experience and our college is really good in the genre. Everyone is friendly and helpful even the seniors are approachable which makes the college life more easy.
The college cafeteria serves really tasty food. The food quality is good and it's freshly prepared in front of us. The canteen staff is really good and their friendly nature can't let us forget the charm of canteen.

Dislikes

The parking space is really compact. We actually have to make space for ourselves to get a spot to park.

The college was my first preference due to its prime location and also because of the course which I was willing to do was ranked to be great here. The admission process is similar to the other central university, they also follow the CUET pattern. And I have no regrets in life after getting here.

The Truth about Mata Sundri College for Women

Likes

The diversity of the college is good. The environment is quite pleasant and I met a lot of new friends.
Political Science factual is well educated and helpful. Professors explain each and every topic easily.
Annual fest of mscw, Saarang is the best. The vibe of the fest is amazing.

Dislikes

Wifi is slow, wherever you go in the college the network is still slow

Good number of societies which gives you an opportunity to showcase your talent, get engaged in multiple activities enhancing your skills
Transport facility: the college is located in central delhi and the nearest metro station is a kilometre away.. students either take auto rickshaw or walk..
Library: the college has a spacious library where students can study during long breaks.

Dislikes

Campus and infrastructure : its small, not like your north campus or south campus college where you have big ground,lawn,garden etc.. you enter building beside parking and then end thats it
A few professors: they don’t care about what the majority wants, listen to your side, give unwanted and baseless opinion on things that are serious

Admission:

Honestly I wasn't sure about taking admission into this college infact i never intended to... The CUET and CSAS process was very convenient for students outside Delhi but things were still not clear about different colleges... what I noticed was the campus problem students thought their colleges was either in north or south so made the preference list accordingly got accepted and later realised that they have been fooled by the information they gained from the internet..

The faculty members are highly supportive and approachable always ready to help.
The college has good infrastructure and a well maintained library.
Various cultural and academic societies keeps students engaged.

Dislikes

The college campus is comparatively small which sometimes limits student gatherings.
Administrative work and documentation processes can be slow causing inconvenience during exams.
Placements opportunity are limited especially for arts students making it harder to find internships and jobs.

I choose this college for its reputation, location, and supportive environment. I applied to various colleges but got admission here due to the cutoffs. The process was merit based through CUET and delhi university portal the admission process was smooth and well organised.

I like how experienced are the faculty members. They are really very supportive and knowledgeable.
I like also, the cultural societies of our college. They are very much informative and creative.
The admin office and the faculty deployed their is helpful too. They are readily available, which is good for freshers.

Dislikes

I don't like the campus because it is very small and sitting arrangements are almost nill in winters.
Being a girls college, my college lacks a lot of competitive opportunities.
The canteen's food items are costly and tasteless.

Admission:

This college was in 47 th preference. In the first slot I got motilal nehru College but in evening shift. so, I decided to upgrade and in the second round I got this, I thought it will improve in further rounds as well so, I tried upgrading it, but it didn't changed and then eventually I had to accept it. The process was smooth and it was online through college councelling entirely. But after one month in college, we were asked to bring our original documents in college for physical verification.

Likes

Location is great, no safety issues. Multiple outing options near college
Campus is clean... easy access to library material, multiple computer labs. Has a gurudwara inside the campus
Faculty is supportive and ready to help. Multiple options of societies

Dislikes

Small ground and we don't have access to it. And campus is so small that we struggle to find an empty space to chill and relax
Sports facilities are very less and no area to play or practice
Canteen food prices are on the expensive side and taste is okay only

Admission:

Honestly, MSCW was not in my preference list in first place. Due to average CUET Normalised Score, I couldn't make it to North or south campus colleges. Admin was calm and supportive during my admission. You need to give CUET to get an admission here in any course. Cutoff is moderate.

Informative review on mata sundri college for women

Likes

There is a gurudwara in college premises which brings a positivity in the environment
Seniors are really supportive. They guide us like our siblings
Commerce faculty teachers are really very good.

Dislikes

There is a network connectivity issue in the college premises
College campus is really small . Even Wall colour of classrooms is not good . Our clothes gets dusty if we touch walls by mistake .
Administration staff is quite rude and delays student work alot.

Admission:

When I got admission in college, cuet was just introduced a year back and nobody had clarity about exam patterns and what to study specifically. I got a score somewhere around 632/800 due to normalisation because some of my exams were really easy and i performed well but again in normalisation if your exam is easy you'll definitely loose marks . That's why my score decreased. And on the top of it , I filled my preference list without even searching about all the colleges and formed a typical list which had no relation with my marks . To be honest mata sundri college was never my choice . But I had to take it because I putted all the potential colleges below it .
