Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is relevant and informative it covers important aspects but at the same time the syllabus feels outdated and lack practical exposure or skill based learning overall it is relevant but It could me more practical and skill based that in this way it'll help student in today's environment

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of our college is quite affordable compared to other universities. The yearly fee structure is 23000-25000 per year depending on the course The fee includes tution fee, university development fee, student welfare charges,id card fee Other scholarships or financial aid that are avidly is our college give full scholarships to the students who can't pay their fees

Campus Life

4

The campus life is fun it's an all girls college so you'll feel free to do whatever you want We have annual fest every year in the month of feb-march we also have departmental fest. The books and and journals are easily accessible in the Library The classroom has basic facilities in some classrooms we have ACs There are many students run social groups like parivartan nss then women empowerment cell and many more

Admission

I choose this college firstly because it comes under university of Delhi and it has good academic reputation and affordable fees structure. The admission was through cuet process which was little time consuming. I applied to other colleges as well but because of my ranking and problem in my preference sheet i had to deal with all the issues

Faculty

3

The faculty in my college is approachable and supportive. The student teacher ratio is balanced allowing good interaction and doubt clarification. The course structure is also organised aligned with NEP-UGC model, focusing on both theory and practical understanding. Exams are conducted every sem with fair marking

Night Life

2

So my college is situated in government area and it's a day college and we don't have any hostels or anything so there is nothing such as nightlife sort of thing. But we have cp near our college it's the most famous hangout spot many food outlets near college campus

Other Applied Colleges

Lady Shri Ram College for Women - [LSR] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Psychology)

I didn’t opt for this college because of my rank and I messed up in my preference sheet

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not good. Delhi University should focus much better on the curriculum.. There's no need of subject like evs, swach bharat, and all for a college student... The timetable is manageable..

Course curriculum was good. Could have included more practical stuff. I was happy when I chose the course and pretty satisfied when I completed it. However, I'd say just the course doesn't prepare you for the industry.

Placements of our college doesn't lack anything as students mostly opt for further studies but I have no issues saying that placements are also available if not in numbers. Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. Still, Miranda House has done well to make sure that over 60-65% students get placements.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement but if we doing 4 years of college so 8 semester. Name of the companies visited. Zomato Amazon Uber Ibm There are around 70000 students who are eligible for the placement Asiants paints The highest and average package offered to the students is 35 LPA for highest and 3-4 LPA average. The percentage of a student must be above 80 percent if they want a average job but if a person want a job in great company they should have percentage around 90 to 95. My plans after getting the degree to become a lecturer. placements, especially for students in popular courses like commerce, economics, and science. The college often invites various companies for campus recruitment, and many students have secured jobs in reputable firms. the extent of placements can vary each year based on market conditions, the courses offered, and the students' performance. If campus placements are limited or not offered, students can still focus on enhancing their employability. By making them selves skillful growing them selves from iner side By skill Development Engage in skill-building activities such as online courses, workshops, or certifications that are relevant to your field. Skills in areas like data analysis, digital marketing, programming, or communication can significantly boost your employability. By Internships seek internships during your course. They provide practical experience and can often lead to job offers. Internships also help you build a professional network by Networking Attend industry events, seminars, and workshops to connect with professionals in your field. Networking can lead to job opportunities that may not be advertised and Higher Studies Consider pursuing further education, such as a master's degree or professional courses, which can enhance your qualifications and open up more job opportunities Entrepreneurship. We can start our own business from which we don't have to get depends on companies.
