LPU has no errors!

Likes

I never saw an Olympic size pool but for the first time I saw 3 such pools as they are there at our campus.
We also have rarest of the rare sports facilities such as fencing too.
Our university has made placements to over 500 plus organization so far.

Dislikes

Barring our department students hardly get core area placements.

Our university entrance is now given by around 100k students. The experience campaigner is what our university is and they organize our entrance LPU Nest in a way that every student scoring well are also awarded scholarships too.

Big and beautiful campus

Big campus near about 600acre and indias biggest private university
Every day shows and celebrate's came in our campus and share their journey
Our university have a program education revolution in which students can learn from the outside of the class

Dislikes

To much distance have to walk to a student to go in side the class
You can not trust anyone in the campus because due to competition

I told this college because it is having two big campus and the campus area 600 acres good staff and faculties which help the student too much and good infrastructure it have good internship and placement records in the past and will give the Good career option

Likes

Some of the faculties are too good while providing the knowledge or education are they are having highly Industrial Experience and have a vast knowledge of the industry.
The boy and girl ratio of my class is almost equal which even helps for a good competitiveness and enjoy the time being around my classmates as they are helpful even.
The campus life is full of opportunities and the social interaction is highly rated even i had made many friends from different states, Countries and the college infrastructure is really good love the time over there in the campus.

Dislikes

Like many of the faculties teaching style is a bit complicated to understand like they are teaching it without having a proper plan or without a industrial experience.
The teaching process is very much outdated like there will be a burden of assignments which almost gives no time foe personal enhancement
The Systems or the Computer Rooms provided by the college are fully outdated which creates a big problem while giving the examinations and even leraning during the class hours.

Admission:

I actually applied for the Asian Institute Of Design in Banglore, the reason for not choosing that college is bit expensive and also no hostel facilities. No I didn't Received any rejection and I had actually cleared the qualifying exam. For Joing lpu u just nned to complete your higher secondary education and then yu can join the college through different methods like Entrance Examination and all.

LPU is indeed a professional university!

Likes

Not just professors but even security guards of LPU are so co-operative.
Our university invest a lot in making the facilities better for students.
Last but not the least our university serves only the vegetarian food.

Dislikes

I didn't liked some locals as they even though knowing we don't know Punjabi talks in Punjabi.

Facts About LPU

Likes

i like the infrasture that the college providing to the students in the affordable course fee
i like the residential facilities that is provided by the college to the students
i like the response given by the university to the students regarding any issue

Dislikes

i don't like the mess facilities provided by the university
i don't like the rules kept by the university to keep students in the limits

Admission:

i didn't applied to any other college but my friends wrote the other entrance exams like srm and after getting the result and scholarship we campared the fee structure and facilities providing by the universities we thought that my university is better than those in every aspect. coming to the admission process you have to write an college entrance exam and you will get scholarship based on those marks and the eligibilty is 60% in 10th and 12th board to write that entrance exam.

Admission:

I chose Lovely Professional University (LPU) after comparing it with several other colleges I had applied to, both private and government institutions. While making this decision, I considered multiple factors such as academics, infrastructure, placement opportunities, admission flexibility, and overall campus exposure. I had also applied to universities like Chandigarh University, Amity University, and some government engineering colleges through entrance exam–based counseling. I received confirmed admissions from LPU, Chandigarh University, and Amity University, but I was unable to secure a seat in top government colleges due to their high cutoffs and limited seats, especially for competitive branches like Computer Science. What ultimately made me choose LPU over the other colleges was the balance it offers between opportunities and accessibility. Academically, LPU provides a flexible and industry-oriented curriculum that allows students to explore specializations, electives, and skill-based courses alongside their main degree. Compared to other colleges I considered, LPU placed more emphasis on practical learning, projects, certifications, and industry exposure rather than just theoretical knowledge. This aligned well with my career goals and learning style. Infrastructure was another major factor. LPU has a massive, well-planned campus with modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, a huge central library, hostels, sports complexes, and dedicated spaces for clubs and innovation. When I compared this with other colleges, LPU clearly stood out in terms of scale and facilities, which directly impacts the student experience and learning environment. The diversity on campus is also a big advantage, as students come from different states and countries, creating a multicultural and collaborative atmosphere.

Huge amount of students in cse program feel very dense
Class timeing very bad for 3 class you have waste whole day
Not so friendly teachers and security officer

The addmission process is very simple you have to take exam like lpu nest , cuet they provide everything related to addmission i don't have any special reason to choose this college and 8 don't know how to compare it to other

"Our journey from LPUNEST to Industry level"

First, our program is industry offered. Our course has industry tie-up with CompTIA for cybersecurity and blockchain. We are encouraged to prepare and pass CompTIA certifications like Network+, CYSA+, Pentest+, etc.
Our program also have collaboration with Quickheal academy. We are taught with Digital forensics and Malware analysis also from Quickheal. I felt this industry certifications very useful mainly in placements.
The thing I liked the most is our faculty are industry mentors. They have a very good practical knowledge in industry level. This made us to select for placements easier than normal cybersecurity program in BTech.

Dislikes

I personally felt fee is higher for few students who cant afford a lot.
Industry mentors and normal faculty have difference in teaching methods. Industry mentors are better.
Sometimes students feel stress balancing placement drives and academics.

I applied for different colleges like Amrita, VIT, DU, etc. I got confirmation for admission from VIT. I choose LPU over others because of CompTIA tie-up for cybersecurity. I also got rejection from other colleges too. It can be entrance exams sometimes, and food, etc. Some colleges i didnt focus properly i applied normally so I didnt make it there. For admission in LPU in our program atleast 60% needed in 12th. Entrance exam LPUNEST need to be given. In jee main 80-90 percentile needed. In LPUNEST more than 805 marks needed for A category scholarship otherwise fee for each semester will be high.

I like the system of lovely professional University

No I get selected in all colleges that I applied i applied for a local colleges and marwadi college in Gujarat but I thought lovely professional University is better than those in carrer opportunities and it is University has honoured rank in ranking.The exam will conduct in different phases you need to give in first phase optimise maximum benefits if you score well that exam called lpunest and other criterias like 12th marks jee and others it can be 60%- decreasing order wise like how your score is above 80-85% get max benefits and order wise decreasing according to your score

Decent college with good facilities and opportunities

The campus of a recruit very large on wall maintain with good infrastructure and modern facilities
Faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful and most teacher explain concept clearly
There are good app opportunities for placements internships events and skill development activities

Dislikes

The class size is large, so something individual attention becomes difficult in some subjects
There is strict attendance and discipline policy which may feel stressful for students

I applied to a few other private universities and state colleges as well Some college had higher cut off requirement and limited seats In some college the admission proccess was slow and less transparent compared to other colleges,the admission process here was smooth and well organized the application procedure was simple and information was clearly provided. Counselling and document verification were conducted properly The admission process was student friendly and less stressful. Overall this college offered better clarity and ease of admission compared to others

Can you tell me about the latest cutoff and the entrance exam accepted for LPU BTech courses?

As per my knowledge, the expected LPUNEST 2024 cutoff for the BTech course is 150 to 300 marks out of 400.

LPU offers every year the National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for around 150+ courses. Every year more than 75,000 students join the LPUNEST exam. Apart from the LPUNEST exam, LPU accepts CUET or JEE Main score for BTech admission.

What is the cut off marks for LPU NEST? How do we get scholarships based on it?

LPUNEST is conducted for admission to several courses. The cut-off completely depends on the course you are applying for. I did my BA LLB from LPU. The LPUNEST is of 200 marks. I scored 165 marks and easily got admission and a scholarship. The LPUNEST cut offs vary as per your category as well.
