Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

Vssut Review

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for placements. If you are in a top branch like Cse or IT, you should be able to bag a decent package. Companies like IBM, Delloite, Infosys, wipro, etc visit our campus for recruitment. On campus highest packages range around 10 LPA and the average package around 5 LPA. Around 70% of the students get placed.

Placement Experience:

3rd-semester students are eligible for campus selection. Many software companies came to our university such as Samsung, Wipro, Havells, Schinders, Infosys, LG. 70 percent of students getting placements in our university. After completing the bachelor of technology degree I want to study master in bachelor of technology in nit and IIT.

Vssut collegelife is more than an emotion.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7sem. More than 20 companies come to our college for recuting in our college. Some MNC are TCS wipro Accenture. Highest package offered in our college is 10 lakh. Average package varies with branch. In CSE branch the average package is 4lakh. After my degree to take job through GATE or try to clear UPSC or clear CDS.

REAL VSSUT

Placement Experience:

3 of our seniors were placed at amazon for 15 lakh package. The average package is 4 lakhs. It all depends on the skills you have got in these 4 years of college. Even if you dont get lucky to crack on campus then you can crack off-campus placements.

At first, when I joined I have decided to give a second chance in JEE main. But seriously speaking after my 1st semester I was regretting that I have to live in this college only for 4years. I love my Vssut

Review on vssut burla

Remarks:

Vssut burla provide a great environment to learn and grow, it teaches us about life.Burla is a place filled with psu and natural beauty, you can find greenery every where around you, it is small town still has many prominent educational institution like IIM SAMBALPUR, SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY,VIMSAR(MEDICAL COLLEGE).

Life at Canara

Remarks:

One of the negative remarks In my opinion is,how far it is from the city,and the lack of transportation to reach the college. Its 22 km away from the city and there are very limited buses that stop right in front of the college.

Positive-ragging free campus Green and Clean Too much Marathi And Telugu Peoples Its Too Tough For A North Guy To Indulge Easily Negative-Intime is Little Less And Mess Food Sucks Sometimes So A Lots Of Peoples Prefers To Eat Out.

Remarks:

Clubs and societies are very much active through out the year. Placement scenarios are quite good. Still product based companies are nt coming to our college though. Academics are good enough to get placed.for Higher studies it won't help though

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same

VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations

Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
