- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is too good here. It attracts you to join the college the areas of improve ment are the website crashing that should be avoided. Teaching methods are very good. The level of faculty is best

- The campus and the facilities provided to the students. The club culture and the platform to showcase your talent.
- The classroom being spacious and ventilated provides a good environment to study in keeping aside the electricity issues.
- Tha laboratories and the computer lab especially equipped with around 200 computers with centralised AC.
Dislikes
- The quality of benches in the class like they are broken or damaged some times
- The college culture for the freshers because they are bound to wear formals for the entire 1st year so that they can be easily identified in the college.
Placement Experience:
The placement record of the college is quite well. Most of the students get placed during the in-campus placement drive and some students go for the off campus placement as well.
Around 70% of the students get placed in campus.
The highest package offered in 2022-23 drive was 42lpa and the average package is 18lpa.
Prominent companies like Reliance, TATA , etc come for recruitment process and many start-ups also recruit students.

- Infrastructure, Library , canteen and the faculties.
- Some seniors are quite good. The canteen is awesome .
- The auditorium and the e learning centre is absolutely amazing.
Dislikes
- Maximum seniors are absolutely horrendous.
- The messages needs to improve a lot as the food is not edible right now.
- Some faculties have a bit of an attitude problem.
Placement Experience:
After 6 th semester students become eligible and the companies visiting our college include big names like TATA, Google , Amazon , Flipkart etc. The highest package ever offered is 56 lakhs and the average placement for IT sector students is 23 lakhs.

- Friendly faculty members and good behaviour by them
- Good hostel facilities and badminton court inside college
- For cse labs there are sufficient number of computers available

- Food quality can be improved in hostel and more quantity
- the hostel is not clean enough, workers should be punctual
- The management is not at all good, corruption is also there

This year placement is not so good as recession is going on but placement is good in core branch like mechanical and electrical branch . average package is 8lacs here, highest off campus package is 47lacs

- Various cultural programs and technical fest were held
- Lush green and large campus with adequate spaces

- Hostel and mess facilities can be improved
- Lab equipments are little bit old malfunction sometime
- Water purifier and bathroom are not properly hygiene
Placement Experience:
Students from 3rd year and 4th years are eligible for placement and almost 80 percent of the students are placed in tcs, Wipro, Tata Power, etc. The highest package is 47 lakh( Amazon)and 3 internship offers with one PPO.

- Faculty advisor are queit good they provide us information about what to do and what not to do . They also sometimes tell us about placements questions and how to be confident and give the answer for their question. The way of talking ,dressing etc .
- The environment of study is good . Friends motivates us to give knowledge about coding and courses to do while doing other stuffs. Due to these reason students gets placed in good companies and as the area around isnt developed then it pollution free
Dislikes
- Hostel facility are not good and wuality of food is low as there is no update of food menu due to which the students get bored of eating the same food so they skip the meal which gradually affects their health and they suffer from health issues .
- The main problem of this college is their shortage of coassroom due to which students have to wait for class to end and also small class due to which it is queit conjugated in sitting together. Time table scheduling is very bad and no student prefers
Placement Experience:
Placements are quite good and almost most of the students get placed. From 3rd semester the student started getting placements and most of them get it off-campus and also in big companies.89% of students get placed in the latest year. I would prefer a good paying job after completion of the course.

The placement of the college is decent. The average LPA offered is 6-7 overall. The average for Computer science is 10 LPA.
Companies - TCS, L&T, Aditya Birla Group, MCL, and Infosys are the top recruiters of our college.

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester onwards students become eligible for on-campus placements.
Various good companies like Delloite, Amazon, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Cred visit the campus.
Most of CS/IT guys get placed with decent packages of 6-7 LPA. The highest on-campus package is 18 LPA, highest off-campus is 32 LPA(Google).
As of the 2020 CSE batch, there was 100% placement. The highest package was 18 LPA. The average is around 6-7 LPA. Only 2 students got 3.2 LPA which is the lowest package.

Students get PPO offers from the 6th semester onwards. A wide variety of companies visit for on-campus placements which is a great thing across all branches. Nearly 75 percent of students get placed every year with average of 6lpa offers

The college has decent placement packages and the college management has to work very hard to compete with the many private colleges for placement. The highest salary offer during the placement drive reached up to 14 LPA and the average salary package is around 8 LPA. But in comparison to the college fee, the placement offers are quite okay and the ROI is good. TCS, Infosys, Dell, PRADAN, Wipro, HP, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, etc visit the company for the college placement drive.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
