MSU Baroda Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement is average but the college has an excellent ROI with respect to other B-Schools around India. Various companies visit the campus for placements such as HDFC BANK, HDFC, FEDERAL BANK, DABUR, TORRENT PHARMA, ICICI BANK, BEACON INSURANCE, etc. The highest package offered was around lakhs/annum and the average placement was around 5 lakh/annum.

Students become eligible for placements from the mid of the 3rd semester, and for summer internship the eligibility is from the beginning of the second semester. several companies from various sectors visit the campus for placements such as TCS, torrent pharma, HDFC, ICICI BANK, DABUR, and others visit the campus for placement.

3rd-semester students become eligible for interviews. The interview process includes GD PI and written tests. Every year generally 20-25 companies visit campus. And nearly 95%+ of students get placed. Evry year with a 4-6 lacs package. My plans include getting a stable job and after some year starting a new business.

On-campus, placement starts in the month of September generally whilst the 3rd semester. Companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Reliance, HDFC Bank, Alembic, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, BFIL Bank, HFFC Bank, Kotak Life, ICICI Prudential, Stone Sapphire, Deepak Nitrate, UTI Mutual funds take students from Campus placement and they give a generally the highest package of 11 lacs and average package of 5.2 Lacs.

From the 4th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. We have many companies like HDFC, L&T, ICICI, RELIANCE, FEDERAL BANK, KYB Conmat, Divya Bhaskar who visited campus for placements. The average package offered by the company is in the range of 5-7 LPA. Generally, 80-90% of the students get placed but this time the less number of students get placed because of COVID-19.

During the second year, 4th semester, the placement process gets started. Companies like ICICI, HDFC, L&T, Amul, TCS, Torrent power and so many offer placement. Students get an average salary package of around 4 LPA.

There is a criterion of scoring above 6.0 GPA then only students can be eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that visit FMS every year. The highest package in 2019 was 10.5L P/A and the average was 5L P/A.

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for the placement ane TCS, ICICI and many more good companies visited for the placement. The highest package for the placement is 8.4 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA.
