Remarks
CMAT is the entrance exam through which you can get admission in FMS,Vadodara. The cut off is around 270-300 marks depends on the difficulty level of paper. The whole admission process is conducted by ACPC.As the college is 37 years old, it has a very strong network of alumni. Talking about placements ,this college has good records,85-90% batch got placed. But this year the covid-19 scenario also affect the placements .You will get good knowledge ,develop skills and many benefits of getting your post graduation degree from this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The whole course is of 2 years. First-year is common for all the students and in second-year student needs to choose their specialization from Marketing, Finance, HR or Operations. Coming to the faculty most of the faculty is highly qualified like Ph.D. and are well experienced. The teaching method is also good and easily understandable. Some faculties arrange surprise quiz, presentation to check our knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides an internship opportunity of 2-3 months. Companies like SBI, HDFC, ICICI, TIMES OF INDIA visited campus for offering internships. But this year it is difficult to get internship opportunities due to COVID-19. The stipend offered by the companies is in the range of 8000-15000/- INR per month.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. We have many companies like HDFC, L&T, ICICI, RELIANCE, FEDERAL BANK, KYB Conmat, Divya Bhaskar who visited campus for placements. The average package offered by the company is in the range of 5-7 LPA. Generally, 80-90% of the students get placed but this time the less number of students get placed because of COVID-19.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total student intake is 120.Out of which 60 are from GIA and 60 from SFI. The fees are 15,000/- INR for GIA and 40,000/- for SFI. The scholarship is also here for OBC, SC, and ST students. Talking about campus jobs it has a good placement record but this COVID-19 scenario also affects these campus jobs.
Campus Life
The campus life is too good and the location is also too good. But this year due to COVID-19 we could not experience that campus life. We get access to a large library that has over 40,000 books. Basically here we have Management Student Forum who planned different events, quizzes, webinars, and talk shows. We have 3 big events organized by MSU in the month of February.
