- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
- The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.
Dislikes
- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

Course Curriculum Overview:
There are many sports are played during college week..like cricket,football, football between teachers and students, volleyball, basketball, table tennis,running sprinting etc... There are also have a good facility to take NCC in this college for the students

- It has a pleasant environment with huge trees which gives reliefs in summer days.
- Bus connectivity should be improved and they are sometimes late
- Infrastructure of this university is top class. Professors are well educated with PhD degree and the roads are well designed
Dislikes
- Some arrogant professors and their ignorance behaviour is not suitable for students
- The market inside the campus should be improved with more shops
- The hospital inside the campus is in very poor condition
Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason behind choosing this course is my deep interest in research area as our department shows good result in research domain .The curriculum provides us some topics that are to be deeply understood like we are imagining those topics in 3-D way and that will helps us in future aspects.
The thing that need to be changed in our curriculum is course pattern itself because it lacks familiarity with CSIR - NET syllabus.
The exams are held in the month of June and December and the difficulty level of the exam is from moderate to hard

Placement Experience:
The students are eligible to sit for on-campus interviews only in their final semester. There are about 4-6companies that come for placement. Recently Sanofi Pvt ltd has approached for placement though the results are not out yet. About 20% of students get placement every year. The average package offered is about 4lakhs and till jow highest is 8lakhs. I am in my final year of post-graduation and I am planning to sit for placement when it will be on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:
1. Since from my school life, I was very curious about the biological world and aur surrounding environment. I took biology as main subject in my higher secondary. After that i have done my graduation in zoology. So that i wanted to pursue my post graduation in zoology.
2. In our department, we have available faculty with good education qualifications. And in our post graduation course we have only 15 seats.
3 . The professors of college is highly qualified and they are very helpful and supportive. Their teaching technique is so good.
4. Our term exams are conducted accordingly with the university guidelines.

Placement Experience:
Masters of science (M.Sc.) 2nd year students are eligible for campus placements.
About 99% students gets placement after completion of their study.
I want to become a professor in mathematics.

gauhati university located into the metropolitan city of assam guwahati, it is the oldest university of assam. The beauty of this university attracted to each and everyone. It's a dream educational hub for the students of assam that's why i also choosing this university for my higher education.

gauhati university is the oldest university of assam around 10000 or more students have studied in the campus and outside the campus there are many colleges under Gauhati university, so as a historic university among NE India i have choosing this university for my higher education.

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
