Fees and Financial Aid:

The course I applied for was Masters in Zoology with a specialization of Biochemistry and Animal Physiology in Handique Girls College under Gauhati University. The tution fees is 20000 per semester, registration fees is 5000 which include lab fees and development fees as well. Scholarship are available to categories and sudents falling under EWS category. Various quotas like Sports Quota, NCC Quota are available.

1. In our college, at the time of admission in post-graduation we have to pay 21000 for the admission in the course. 2. Their is no scholarship , financial assistance, and job security in the college but students can apply for the various scholarship programs given by government of India and state government.

My experience in college during my pg course

Handique girls college is a government college so its fee is not that too much. I had to pay 26500 per semester and if any student wants a hostel facility then they have to pay an extra 1500 per month. Students from tribe community or st sc students get scholarships. And students can apply for certain scholarship programs provided by the government of Assam.

Nope till date no scholarships or loan facilities are seen in the college.But i can't assure it fully that they are not providing any scholarships.As i m new to the college so i m not very sure about it.
