- The placement is the best thing about this college .many good companies come and make good offer
- Many teachers are exceptionally good in their field.the faculity to student ratio is 1:77 approx, all faculty have done their mtech and phd from reputed university like iitkgp,nit rourkela,iit bombay etc.
- Hostel are very huge and best thing about the college is its hostel
Dislikes
- Recently placement is not very good in our campus especially for my department (etc).average package is only 9 lpa plus no good or reputated companies are coming here for recruitment.campus also doesnt help in obtaing any internships
- I think some faculties lack quality. for the amount of institution fee it feels like a risk.
- The no of reputed companies coming here for job offers and internships is declining with a very fast rate.

I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

- Not just for academics but even for placements our college is best in Orissa.
- Even in infrastructure we have the best facilities which also includes girls hostels
- Self defense is also taught at our college and I am grateful for that.
Dislikes
- Timings are very strict as we have to be back at campus by 7 pm and for boys it's 9 pm.
- Partiality is done with students of Orissa getting more opportunities.
Placement Experience:
Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

- strong coding culture in the campus. more or less every one is inclined towards building a carrier in tech
- there is a good opportunity for internship and placement here in our college
- college is located in the greenery area. there is exposure of startups and some companies here
Dislikes
- limited campus size compared to several nits which prohibits us to have certain facilities
- college is on the outskirts of the city. we have to travel some distance to reach main city area
- the quality of mess food is not very good here.
Placement Experience:
You are eligible for placements from the third year. Companies like Oracle, DE Shaw, Flipkart, Media.net, Zscaler, and Dell came for placements. 270 offers were made, with a placement percentage of about 80 percent.

Placement Experience:
Placements of the college are fine it is not very bad. The highest and average package offered during IIIT Bhubaneswar BTech placements 2024 stood at INR 26.5 LPA and INR 8.81 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 192 offers were received and 42 recruiters visited the campus during placements 2024 drive.

- Computer lab and all the machines are working properly
- The reading room is good and it has air conditioner
- Library is very big and all the facilities are also available and internet is very good at this campus

- The campus is situated slightly distant from the main city
- The road to campus is not that good and the mess food is average
- Hostels are outdated and need to be rebuid or renewal
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for internship officially from 3rd yr and for placements 7th semester onwards. Recently oracle has visited and 4-6 gote in there with 26 LPA . Zscalara was also there around 15 LPA . Percentage last year was 80-85 ig. I think I will join as a software developer along with a carrier in photography but let's see what happens.

- When I joined the college, the environment and architecture was very nice, even though the campus size was small.
- Even though the size of reading room is small, it has ACs. And there is regular cleaning of classrooms, hostel. Also there are free laundary services.
- Senior level professors are friendly and as batch size if small, every student is able to interact with the professor.
Dislikes
- No AC hostel room is provided even though the charge for single room charges are very high and there are AC points too.
- There is involvement of students in management and there is no coordination between different centers such as examination centre
- There is WIFI and network issues in the reading room, library, classrooms, hostel rooms and even in labs.
Placement Experience:
From the start of the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. The placement used to be so good and the graph was increasing exponentially. But for to recession, last year's placements were not good at all. There was almost 100% placement in CSE, IT and CE branches and 80% in ETC and EEE. But due to the recession, it dropped drastically. The highest package provided on campus is 39LPA by media.net, taking only one student. The average salary used to be 12LPA which dropped to 7LPA due to the recession.
The condition of placement cells is not good currently and many students are in doubt regarding their placements. Many are opting for higher studies or trying off campus.
