IIIT Bhubaneswar Scholarships
The SC/ ST category students are eligible for the following scholarships:

G B scholarship: Top three students in each branch of B.Tech. program of each year will be awarded this scholarship. The amounts are as follows:

First Topper: INR 20,000 per annum

Second Topper: INR 15,000 per annum

Third Topper: INR 10,000 per annum

CAFAS / Medhabruti by Department of Higher Education: INR 10000 per annum for four years B.Tech program

Prerana by SC and ST development board for SC/ ST / OBC: INR 20000 to 60000 per annum.

Scholarship by IMFA

Scholarship by VIKAS Educational Charitable Trust: INR 25000 per annum and it may increase as per student's need.

Post Matric Scholarship by CHSE

Scholarship from NCERT

Special TFW scheme is available for 3 students of the institute apart from normal TFW as per Government norms. Students that applied for TFW scheme during admission and were not allotted a seat under that category shall be considered for this scheme subject to fulfillment of required criteria.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For general candidates the fees are 1,43,000 per semester including hostel fees. The tuition fees are around 90,000. Caution fees 7,000. Development fees, Lab fees, Wifi fee, Library fee, Placement fee all are 20,000. Hostel fees are 26,000 for single seater room and 14000 for triple seater rooms. For Odisha category they have fee waiver which reduces the total fee paid drastically depending on your Caste or Income. There are scholarship opportunities for top 3 CGPA students of the class, First getting 20,000. Second gets 15,000 and Third gets 10,000.

IIIT Bhubaneswar is best as fees that it commands is less than all the IIITs. Where most IIITs charge around 2-2.5 lakhs a year our branch charges just 1 lakhs a year. Including both the semester exam fees is around 10-12k and since hostels are mandatory that too costs a little more than a lakh per year.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Fees and Financial Aid:

IIIT Bhubaneswar is best engineering college of Orissa and the fees to study here is 1 lakhs per semester. Also, the hostel fees yearly is 100000. So total of 3 lakhs and plus some additional expenses and all makes is around 3.5 lakhs a year. Scholarships on merit are available as I am a general category student and I don't qualify for caste based scholarships as otherwise those students get upto 50% scholarships.

The semester fees is approx 86,000 which increases little bit every year and this adds upto about 7.7 lakh in total for four years. caustion money is about 14,000. library andservices fee is about 8000 per semester. hostel fees are about 10,000 per semester. campus utility and establishment charges are about 5500 in 1st year . 7000 in 2nd and 3rd year and 8000 in 4th year.there is placement fee of 2200-2700 varied from 1st to 4th year.the odisha category students can get scholarship based on income and can also apply for state government scholarships. the fees for almost all categories are more or less same

Yes, there are fee waivers available in IIIT Bhubaneshwar. The student should satisfy the required criteria to be eligible for fee waiving scheme. He or she should have maintained a SGPA of 6.75 in each semester and have attendance above 80%.

Yes, IIIT Bhubaneshwar offers scholarships to the General Category students on the basis of their merit scores. GB Scholarship is one such scholarship which is offered to the top three students of each branch of the B.Tech. program. The first topper get INR 20 thousand per year, second topper gets INR 15 thousand per year and third topper gets INR 10 thousand per year. There is post matric scholarship also offered by CHSE to general category students.
