Course Curriculum Overview

I really wanted to learn more about the chemistry about our body and how we as individual work the course in itself is very much relevant and i always wanted to be a doctor but since i couldn't clear neet i went with the next best option The course teaches us about all sort of day to day aspect the most relevant include eg carbohydrates metabolism and how we digests sugars and enzymes yow they work etc areas of improvement may include that we should be more practical oriented then theory oriented we should learn more about the practical aspect the exams are moderately difficult with a 2hr theoretical exam and a 5hr practical both set at moderate difficulty

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 37900 in my 1st year and then the fees gradually decreased with me paying 37000 in my second year and will pay 36000 in my 3rd year Not sure about the different fees but as i am from a science background relatively me fees ia gonna be hogher due to lab equipments and and other related stuff fees for all my batchmates is similar for all woth pr without categorizes Also student with financial aid can go for scholarship from college not sure about the details

My course is biochemistry and i have about 12 teachers teaching in 1st,2nd,and 3rd year also 4th collectively we follow the nep rule and have 3 main dSE subjects and 1 ge offered by my course also this year a drosophila and zebrafish sec was also offered this year the faculty which tech me invlude padam mam radhuka mam anita mangla mam neera sir swati mam rashmi mam out of all i really like neeraj sir and swati mam they both are great teachers and are really fun to be around also neeraj sir is my mentor i mam not a fan of padam mam that much she seem to be asoing a lot of questions and expects us tobknow everything that s quite absuld the course being one of the most toughest subject is considerably on the hard end but with good faculty its easier on the brain the course curriculum is very much relevant as biochemistry in it self tells us about the chemistry of our body exams are relatively hard but i haven't seen anyone from my batch fail in any subject at least till now

Night Life

4

Not sure about the nightlife as i live with my family and i don't really travel outside at night but from what i have heard from my friend who live in hostels they enjoy and have a great night life with clubs and restaurants being the star of the night the north campus being near kamla nagar is a hub for restaurants and youth enjoyment other than these there are the local stalls with tea and momo are a cherry on top

Placement Experience:

there is a dedicated Placement cell in the campus which is usually for business students. For our course, we don't prefer placement, rather look for employability or future plans after the course and that are highly available. Employment can be in any sector and the chances increase if one plans to continue with masters and research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is suitable for students. The SEC ( skill enhancement) and VAC ( value addition) courses are helpful for students for their future. Which prepares well students for the real world applications. Areas of improvment are the teaching methods of professors, they should keep a polite behavior so they students can easily ask their doubts. Timings of exams are sometimes not suitable in winters it's freezing cold to go to exams in morning in December and jan months

There are many practicals i did performed in our labs which provides me experience. Almost all the apparatus are available to the students during practicals which makes it efficient to perform hard practicals easily. Exams difficulty is somtimes above average. Insufficient time during exams because the answers asked can only be explained in deep which takes longer time along with dig. Requirements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For me this Course is best because every thing in the curriculum is just broad version of 12 th and for me the science is easiest to handle as of my interest. Its just all i wanted Yes it is good but there is a very few career option within this course so either you have to do msc from reputated college or just plan else Yeah the only worst thing about this is if you do 4th year only the you got the honours degree in specific dse course The exam happened once in semester besides the IA tests are that are easy
