Course Curriculum Overview

3

There are many practicals i did performed in our labs which provides me experience. Almost all the apparatus are available to the students during practicals which makes it efficient to perform hard practicals easily. Exams difficulty is somtimes above average. Insufficient time during exams because the answers asked can only be explained in deep which takes longer time along with dig. Requirements.

Internships Opportunities

3

There was a summer vacation paid internship in our college which was needed to be qualified after joining into a meeting. In that internship two students from my class were also selected and got got internships. One of my friend do internship in which she makes posters and other types of pamplets through canva. It's the task assigned to her and she actually earns from it on the basis of how much hours she worked.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year i paid around 36,750 and in the second year it was less as compared to the 1st year approx. 34000. I am in 2nd year so this was the fees i have paid. I did applied for NSP scholarship from which i actually got 12000 money back in my account in my first year of BSc hons. And yes semester wise we need to pay the exam fees which varies every semester according to the SEC,VAC or GE subjects we have opted for.In Practical subjects we have to pay more fees.I Paid 2010 this year because i have EVS as my AEC.

Campus Life

4

There is the organisation of annual fest every year like previous year Shahid malya was invited by our college was very mesmerizing. In navratri dandiya nights are also held. Department wise festa are organized too in which many performances are done. Manjiri of our college is truly brilliant and it feels also great if we join societies of our college too. Freshers party in which miss freshers is also nominated. As I also joined music Society of my college which help me groom and develop my personality to.. in the same way other students can also join society of the fields in which they are interested to make their college life more enjoyable and memorable.

Admission

This college was my first preference in the preference sheet durung cuet form filling as my sister wanted biochemistry hons which is only available in this college if we want to go for north campus. As we both sisters wanted a same college to avoid any kind of inconvenience after admission i did also kept this college as my first preferred college. Also Daulat Ram College is good for science students i have heard from many of my friends so i did go for it.. Otherwise me and my sister will have gone for venkateshwara college

Faculty

1

Faculty and students approachable ratio is average that depends on the subject teacher. In my first year there was only semester exam per sem but this year when i am in 2nd year mid sem exams were also conducted . The Difficulty level is a bit more then average and the mid sem exams questions were almost all of them from sample papers and syllabus. The faculty members should be more polite towards their students and listen to their problems rather then scolding the student even though its thier duty to solve the problems related to subject allotmemt or anything else as a TIC of the class.

Night Life

5

The canteen area of our college and even the canteens situated just opposite to our college have many green parks in which me and my friend Hangout during break timings. Arts faculty is really beautiful have seating areas in it and the garden of our college seems comfortable durings winters to seat upon.Prices of food ia also affordable and justified.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
