After seeing all other colleges i saw one coomin thing, they all were having that same old and traditional curriculum, which was lacking in this time if AI, so, i choosed SST due to this main reason. To apply for SST, you need give their NSET examination consisting of aptitude questions, and after clearing that NSET exam, you have to give two rounds of interview majorly based on your maths and apptitude skills. I applied to a few reputed institutions like BITS Pilani, which I got into and also considered options like III T, Hyderabad and Delhi University colleges, what made me choose Scaler School of Technology was its unique curriculum, mentorship, driven learning and strong industry ties while is a great traditional college, I felt Scaler was more focused on practical job skills and not just academic learning. I was selected in VIT also, but I preferred SST for its curriculum and industry exposure! The admission process was quite simple! We have an entrance exa,m NSET, then after clearing it, we have 2 - 3 interview rounds with some staff! And that's it! We pay the fee and we are in! there are two eligibility criteria age <= 20 and they must have scored more than 20% in NSET or More than 40% in a particular subject in NSET! i applied only at VIT except SST and got selected in both and chose SST over VIT and I am delighted that I got into SST than VIT....Read More

I choose this college primarily bcoz of the curriculum, its really good and industry relevant. If I had to make a comparison between my college and other colleges, i would say that sst, its really great in terms of education. Its also really great in helping students with ideas The admission process of my college is quite different from most generic colleges. We first have to give an exam called NSET, and if we qualify NSET, we can then move onto the personal Interview Round, where an interview will ask us questions related to maths as well as personal goals and aimbitions in life. After the Interview rounds are over, if you get selected you will be given an offer letter. There are two eligibility criterias, one, you must have scored a minimum of 60% in your class 12th board exams. 2nd, you must be less than or equal to 20 years of age. There are multiple intakes, which happen almost every month from Jan till July/August, and the cutoff vaires in each intake and it averages around 40% . There are primarily two sections, Maths and Logical reasoning, having weightage of 55% and 45% respectively. I've applied to many colleges such as : BITS Pilani, IIIT Guwahati, NID Ahmedabad, NIFT Gandhinagar, IIITDM Jabalpur, NIT Surat, DAIICT, MSU and LNMIIT. I got selected in all those colleges but still decided to come and study here at SST to pursue my passion in CSE and Graphic Designing. I rejected other colleges because of many reasons, some beacause of the climate, some because of the curriculum and one the main reason was the course structure.
