Likes
- Superb placements as one can easily get placed at will from GNLU.
- The college holds a significant name and therefore intenrships applications are never rejected even for Tier-1 firms.
- College now a metro station named GNLU right next to the college gate and that has made commuting so smooth.
Dislikes
- There aren't much fests and activities inside the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Everyone has heroes in sportsmen, film stars and politicians but my heroes were the ones who were lawyers. Hence, I chose law and I am glad I studied from the top law college of the country. Improvement would be that number of lectures to be increased as 50 lectures of a subject per semester is little less for my liking.
Placement Experience
Placements happens only during the final year and the ones who are left for placements a special day called the day 0 is organised. Hence, the college makes all possible ways so that students get places here. Many too corporates including the Adani group comes here for placements. Out of 159 that applied for placements in 2024, 97 students got placed and some of them even were placed in international law firms.
Fees and Financial Aid
GNLU is among the top 5 NLUs of the country and the fees is 240k a year for general category students. For SC/ST it ain't much less as it's close to 2 lakhs. On clat rank they do get a lot of benefits but not in terms of fees.
Campus Life
Pentagon is our very own college fest that happened in March or April every year during my time. The best though were the Garba nights and students from other colleges too were invited. A sports fest call Justice league is also played at our campus as we have almost every sports facilities at the campus. There is one boys and one girls hostel at th campus and a VIP residency for parents visiting the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, the hostels are good as girls hostles even have single rooms and attached washrooms. The boys hostel tol have limited single rooms otherwise most of them are two seater rooms. The message provides four meals a day and there is a night mess inside the campus which is opened till 2am.
Admission
I just gave Clat and with a rank of 453, the best college u could get was GNLU, NALSAR and NLSIU are for top 300 studnets. So, probably the best college I have been a part of. CLAT exams are held in December every year and the results are out in a month or so. As per the ranks colleges are alloted and that is how one gets admission here.
Faculty
Faculties are one of the top as most of them are seasoned lawyers and have done exceedingly well in their lives. All are achievers too as their research papers have published by some premiere publications. Coming to their relationship with the students it's as good as two friends discussing their lives with each other.
