What Students Say
Likes
- I really liked the placement cell and the faculty which KMC provided me.
- I also liked the sports infrastructure in the college. Played volleyball and football.
- I liked the crowd of KMC as you get exposure and different opportunities there.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the fact that there wasn't any sports quota for volleyball
- I also didn't like the fact that there was no coach for volleyball and the coach for football is same as of the hockey team.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B. Com (Hons), as I have a background in commerce. I also knew that this course had 100? placement rate. The course is highly beneficial for learning real world applications as well as for further academic pusuits, as it had a lot of case studies and examples which are currently helpling me in my job. Also, the content is familiar to that in MBA, so it would be easy for me if I go for that.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are very good. The highest package I my batch was of 22 LPA, and the average package was of 4-5 LPA. Students are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Companies like the Big 4, Bain, Accenture ICICI Bank visit for placements regularly.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was about ?14000, with an annual increment of about ?300 -400. The complete cost of the 3 year course was about ?45,000, which includes the annual fee payments as well as ?510 examination fee, which I paid before each semesters exam. Students with disabilities and those from EWS families can get fee relaxations.
Campus Life
My overall experience has been really great, I basically enjoyed my campus life due to the fact that there wasn't any mandate for attendance. So I basically spent most of my time being on the volleyball court, out there working on my skills. The boys common room was my place of rest. The overall infrastructure was really great. Be it the library or the auditorium.
Admission
Maths and accountancy background are required for admission in B. Com. (Hons.). Nowadays, all students have to give CUET exams fir admission in the college. The overall process is very smooth and can be done online, without any need to visit the college physically.
Faculty
Although my section had 75 students, almost 20 -30 students would be present in a typical classroom. It ensured that the class was not too crowdes and the teacher could answer the questions asked by all students. The faculty used to teach by using many real life examples and case studies, not just the theory of subjects. We could interact with teachers at any time, in their office hours. There were frequent QnA sessions, making the whole learning experience very interactive.
