Likes

The faculty is really nice and they r super supportive.
The infrastructure is also really good .
Society culture that helps fosters community learning.

Dislikes

There is no auditorium in the college so conducting session is pretty hard.
There is no air conditioner facility so it becomes hard to survive in summer.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not much relevant since the subjects introduced after adoption of NEP policy doesn't make much sense. It's totally worthless and students just gulp down the syllabus. Teachers do not bother to teach and take class neither do students have any concern.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 14800 per year

Placement Experience

Students after 5th semester become eligible for campus placement. The companies that visit are Zomato , swiggy , Ernst and young, PWC, Deloitte among others. The highest package provided was 51 lakhs p.a.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 14.8k. Yet there are few students who cannot pay such a mere fee. Whereas I feel it's justified to charge that much. Scholarships are available to bonafide students. There is a vice chancellor internship as well .

Societies play a pivotal role in student's overall development. College fest is held once a year which are basically average. Societies fest are good typically the best for societies that have a good marketing fund

Admission

The admission process was totally based on CUET scores. I scored 770/800 to get bcom hons in kirorimal college as a general student. Reservation benefits are provided to eligible students some students even got admitted for scores as low as 500-600

Faculty

The student to faculty ratio is 1:10. The teachers are highly qualified and some teachers teach from the depth of their hearts . There are some teachers who just teach for the sake of teaching and completing syllabus

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU. I chose Kmc because of its faculty of history and it's alumnis.The faculty of history is one of the best in du, that's why I chose KMC. I also applied for colleges like Hindu College,and also at B.H.U ,but I got confirmed admission in Hindu College in Sanskrit honours course and I wanted to pursue history so I chose KMC, and I also got admission in B.H.U history,but the faculty of du and particularly KMC history is better ,so I chose KMC. KMC is quite well than hindu College and B.H.U in terms of its alumini and crowd . KMC is also better in sports and ncc than other colleges.
