Entrance Preview
The entrance exam was EAMCET, Which was common entrance examination in the erst while Andhra Pradesh state. I got a poor rank of 38K in the examination, but eventually that was good enough to get a seat in this college. There was a common counselling for all the colleges, I chose the course since i was interested/ inclined in that course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was good. Since the college was affiliated to acharya nagarjuna university, The curriculm was quite common as of very old colleges in the region.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience is quite bad. Learnt about simulation only, that too not without hassle.
Placement Experience
I was selected in 3 companies, but not so reputed ones. The job opportunities were good, but there is Greatest scope for improvement. Many students were not placed in companies. The job opportunities were quite less in 2011, whereas it is better now.
College Events
One word, Awesome. The festivals were conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students, with great interest from the faculty. There is a seperately designed room for the purpose, and the interaction amongst students was good, eventhough without ragging.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various state govt sponsored scholarships were given, and loans are also good in the college.
Campus Life
Gender ratios were quite bad. constituting of only around 24 girls in a class of 78 students. No discrimination was shown based on any status.
Hostel Facilities
I was not in hostel. But as compared to some colleges in the state, It was cheaper in cost, but quality is good. The average hostel rent including food was around 20000 per annum in 2008.
Faculty
The faculty was really good and inclined to teach the subject. Never the less, the faculty are being rotated every year to prevent favouritism towards the student. We found a good faculty, which transformed year to year, with the qualification increasing.
