Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course is not great, it doesnt focus on skill development but rather focuses on mugging up and it's like school. There arent any projects to do and it's just attending boring classes. If the curriculum had a few projects it would have been better

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 1,23,000 rupees as the tution fee and 67,000 rupees is the bus fee which is mandatory to be paid by everyone. You don't have an option to opt out of it no matter how close you live you have to pay the bus fee

Campus Life

3

The campus is beautiful and the clubs within the clg are active, but the overall social life can be good only if you have a few friends lucky for me I do and that makes the college life a little fun but still there aren't enough events happening for us

Admission

I choose this college because this college has great reputation among people in Chennai and is one of the highest rated college in the city after IITM, but the college did not meet upto the expectations I had before joining

Faculty

1

Most of the faculty members are really biased and hate north Indian students, some of the faculty members from ECE likes Hanis and Karthie are the worst, if you get into the clg you hope you don't get them as your teachers

Interview Experience

4

No there was no group discussion or interview for my admission although people can join via written test and if you clear the written test there will be a interview in which they ask you basic questions

Night Life

2

The nightlife of the college is not great, couples walking around everywhere and the library closes at 8pm which is not great because our classes get over at 3.30 and after that there is hardly any time to be in the library and study

Placement Experience:

SSN has good placement opportunities compared to all the other colleges in Chennai. They have provided huge opportunities for students and students are placed with extremely high packages. They have provided a good package for Computer Science and Engineering as well as which falls under the domain of electrical and mechanical very well and the average package was 6 lpa. They bring lots of good and reputed companies for placement and the placement process will be decided by the respective companies like exams interviews group discussions and its personal interviews etc. Even students of core jobs like mechanical have got an opportunity to get placed with 12 lpa.
