Remarks
This is one of the oldest colleges of Kolkata and my dream was to be a part of this college. After the merit list published I saw my name and I select this college without thinking anything twice. But I have chosen this college based on the faculties and facilities that are provided by the college not just like this is the oldest college and I have choose it. I have looked all the details and cross checked that and then select the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a student of B.Sc. Honors of Chemistry department. From my point of view the syllabus and the curriculum is updated enough and also the faculties are also friendly in behavior. They are trying to clear all the doubts that we have and also the labs are providing well equipped instruments that also helped us a lot.
Placement Experience
As a B.Sc. student, the college is not provided any job opportunities. But every year lots of B.Com students went for the job placements and bagged various jobs from the past 10 years. Although we'll get the internship opportunities if we score good marks and maintain our CGPA around 9 and 9.5. Without the internships, the college is not providing any other job opportunities for the B.Sc. students. Though the placement cell is really working hard to grab those internship offers.
College Events
The campus life is really amazing. The student union organised the cultural programs, competitions and many more interactive things which opens the opportunity of showcasing the talents in front of the audience. The campus is culturally very much enriched and enhanced. The seniors are also student friendly. The campus is ragging free.
