Remarks

All my faculty teachers are hugely qualified,supportive, and always tries to help students in every situation. We have smart classes. All chapters are taught to us in a very easiest way. We have large classrooms with Air Conditioner maintained in a good and proper way.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com newly implemented course under CBCS system is very good and inspires students to score huge marks. Yes, we were provided with good great content in the courses. We have many faculties under Colleges as number of colleges are increasing day by day with increasing subject courses in B.Com.

Class Size: 1016Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities

No I have not entered in any company for jobs. I want to study more professional courses inorder to get good job with security.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are good. I am studying b.com from the year 2017. When I joined the b.com course started in a new system CBCS. In that we have MCQ papers which will help us to cover our future selection tests also. So it's a good trial.

College Events

Yes, my campus life was excellent,exciting with lots of fun. In our campus we celebrate a lot of fest, festivals, different types of parties. The technical part is very strong and coordinable. My first fest occurred in the auditorium hall.

Fees and Financial Aid

No sorry I have not availed. But I have heard that my college provides loan facility to the poor struggling students.

Campus Life

My college campus is very very large. We have a big common room for both boy and girls. We have two ladies common room, one big library, four science experimental labs, two computer labs. We also have good,strong wifi system in college. We are too having a big canteen with good munching foods along with reasonable prices. Also having big auditorium hall.

Hostel Facilities

No I have not opted for hostel. I live in kolkata so I have my own house to live in. But some of my friends stay in hostel pg. In hostel they say that they are opted with good facilities like good room,neat and clean bathrooms, good healthy food, mineral water.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good. We have many exams in our semester.It would have been better if we had studied our theory paper a little better.
