BA is a regular course in Bengali, which has a duration of three years and teaches students about the origins, culture, and history of the Bangla language. There are total of six semesters. Every semester is unique and different.

Placement Experience

BA is not a professional course offering college placements in the Bengali language. Many local newspapers and news channels come to the college for placement. Students get good placement with a good package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since the college has a fee structure of Rs 5200 per year, it is very feasible for every student, I think. Everyone loves the fee structure of the college, and this is the main reason to opt for this college.

Campus Life

The college campus has a greener atmosphere and a quieter space for students to learn and a playground to play diverse games, so students can enjoy it. Independence Day, Republic Day, Doliatra, Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti are the main celebrations.

Admission

To receive a merit list and admission in my college, you must first visit the college website and upload a scanned copy of all your academic documents. Then further, you have to follow procedure. The process is somewhat easy.

My college faculty are very good. Their teaching style is amazing and excellent, and we learn a lot from them in the local language. But some faculty are extraordinarily excellent and helpful in all aspects.

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.
