WB PGET 2026 Counselling Choice Filling Begins; Check Last Date to Lock Choices

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) has opened choice filling. This is for West Bengal Post Graduate Entrance Test (WB PGET) 2026 counselling. Candidates can log in at pget.examflix.in.

The choice filling window opened on July 8, 2026. It will close on July 11, 2026. Round 1 seat allotment will be published on July 14, 2026.

The counselling covers admissions to MTech, MPharm and MArch programmes. These are offered across MAKAUT affiliated colleges in West Bengal. Only AICTE and PCI recognised courses are open for admission.

Who Is Eligible for WB PGET 2026 Counselling?

Only candidates who qualified WB PGET 2026 can join the counselling round. MAKAUT conducted the computer based test on June 14, 2026. The rank card was issued on June 20, 2026 online.

Candidates must use their login credentials from the application stage. They should keep their rank card details ready. This helps in checking eligibility for specific colleges and programmes.

What Programmes Are Covered Under WB PGET 2026?

WB PGET 2026 is the state level entrance for PG technical courses. It covers admissions to three streams through MAKAUT affiliated institutes.

• Master of Technology (MTech) in various engineering branches
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) in select specialisations
• Master of Architecture (MArch) in accredited institutes

Admission is based on WB PGET rank and locked choices. Category-wise reservation rules apply during seat allotment.

How to Fill Choices on pget.examflix.in?

Follow these steps carefully to complete the choice filling process.

1. Visit the official portal at pget.examflix.in.
2. Click on "Applicant Login" and enter your credentials.
3. Access the choice filling section from the dashboard.
4. Select preferred colleges and programmes from the list.
5. Arrange the choices in the order of preference.
6. Save the choices and lock them before the deadline.
7. Download the confirmation slip for future reference.

Unlocked choices will be auto-locked at the deadline. Candidates should review the list carefully before final submission. Changes cannot be made after locking.

What Happens After Round 1 Seat Allotment?

Round 1 allotment results will be declared on July 14, 2026. Candidates can log in to check their allotted college and programme. Those allotted a seat must complete acceptance and reporting formalities.

Further rounds of allotment will follow the first round. Details of Round 2 and beyond will be updated on the portal.
