Who Is Eligible to Appear for AAU CET 2026?

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Agriculture (PCAg). General, OBC, and UPS category candidates need 50 percent aggregate marks. SC, ST, and DAC category candidates need 40 percent aggregate marks.

Applicants must hold a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam. This condition is relaxed for candidates applying under the Higher Fee Category or NRI quota seats.

What Is the AAU CET 2026 Exam Pattern?

The entrance test carries 160 multiple choice questions to be answered in 2 hours. Questions are drawn equally from four subjects based on the Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council syllabus.
