MAH BDes CET CAP 2026 Registration Begins; Check Last Date to Apply

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has opened the Maharashtra Bachelor of Design Common Entrance Test (MAH BDes CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 registration on the official portal at bdesign2026.mahacet.org. Eligible candidates can apply online until July 18, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

The CAP round governs admission to the four-year Bachelor of Design programme for the 2026-27 academic year across Maharashtra. Document verification will run parallel to the registration window and close on July 19, 2026.

MAH BDes CET CAP 2026 Important Dates

Candidates must complete every activity within the timelines fixed by the MAH CET Cell. Late submissions will not be accepted through the portal.

Who Can Apply for MAH BDes CAP 2026?

The CET Cell has opened registration for candidates falling under the following categories for the 2026-27 CAP round:

• Maharashtra State candidates
• All India candidates
• Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory residents
• Ladakh Union Territory residents
• Migrant candidates

Applicants must hold a valid MAH BDes CET 2026 score. The entrance test was conducted by the CET Cell earlier this year for admission to the design programme.

What Are the Two Scrutiny Modes?

The CET Cell has provided two options for document verification during CAP 2026. Candidates can pick the one that suits them best while filling the form.

E-Scrutiny Mode

Under this mode, candidates upload scanned documents through the portal. Officials verify the documents online without any centre visit. This option suits candidates staying outside Maharashtra or in remote locations.

Physical Scrutiny Mode

Under this mode, candidates visit the chosen scrutiny centre with original documents. Verification happens in person within the allotted time slot. The full list of centres is available on the CAP portal.

• Click on the new candidate registration link on the homepage.
• Enter your MAH BDes CET 2026 application number and personal details.
• Fill in academic, category, and reservation information.
• Upload the required scanned documents in the prescribed format.
• Select your preferred scrutiny mode and centre if applicable.
• Pay the CAP processing fee online.
• Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
