Thapar MBA Important Dates 2026

The MBA programme at Thapar is offered as a two-year, full-time course. For the 2026 admission cycle, the MBA programme will be provided in six different specialisations: Business Analytics and Information Systems, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Information System, and Human Resource Management.

Admission to the MBA programme will be based on valid XAT, GMAT, TMAT, CAT, MAT, and cutoff scores, as well as work experience. Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. Final year students may also apply.

Thapar MBA Admission Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in the entrance exams (XAT, GMAT, TMAT, CAT, MAT), followed by a Personal Interview. Final selection will be based on the total weightage of the above categories.

TMAT is an in-house aptitude test conducted by Thapar Institute (LM Thapar School of Management) for MBA admissions.
