NIT Jamshedpur Eligible Candidate List Released for PhD Written Test & Interview

National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, popularly known as NIT Jamshedpur, has released the list of shortlisted candidates for admission to the PhD program must report to the Diamond Jubilee Lecture Hall Complex (DJLHC), Room No. 101, according to their schedule on January 19, 2026, from 9 AM onwards.

The candidates will be required to appear for a written test and interview for final selection to the PhD program. All candidates are requested to bring all the original certificates and testimonials for verification.

NIT Jamshedpur PhD Selection Procedure

Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria to reach the written examination and interview stage. However, 50% weightage is given to the Written Examination, 30% weightage is given to the interview, and 20% weightage is given to Academic credentials.

All candidates seeking admission to the Doctoral Programme should fulfill the appropriate standards of medical fitness. The Institute Medical Board's opinion regarding the medical fitness of a candidate shall be final.
