How to Download the NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Letter?

Candidates can follow these steps to access the allotment letter.

  1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the PG Medical Counselling link.
  3. Open the Round 1 Final Allotment Result tab.
  4. Enter the NEET PG roll number and password.
  5. Check the allotted college, course, and category.
  6. Download the allotment letter and print a copy.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Report?

Non-reporting candidates will lose the allotted seat. The forfeited seats will be added to the Round 2 vacancy pool. These candidates may still take part in Round 2 counselling. However, they will not be treated as free-exit candidates.

Why This Round Matters

The AIQ pool decides half of all PG medical seats in India. Missing the November 2 deadline sends candidates to the Round 2 vacancy list. A Round 1 seat usually offers better specialty and institute preference.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Download the allotment letter from mcc.nic.in before reporting.
  2. Collect all originals and self-attested photocopies in a file.
  3. Arrange the admission fee as per the allotted institute.
  4. Reach the allotted college within the reporting window.
  5. Complete document verification and collect the joining report.
Keep an Eye On

The MCC will release the NEET PG Round 2 seat matrix and schedule next. Track mcc.nic.in for Round 2 registration and vacancy updates.
