NTA has opened JEE Main 2027 Session 1 registration at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can apply until November 22, 2026. The exam will be held on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2027.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2027 Session 1 registration on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The online application window started on October 24, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to engineering, architecture, and planning programmes can now submit their forms.
As per the official notification released by NTA, the last date to apply is November 22, 2026 up to 11:50 PM. The fee payment window also closes at the same time. A late fee application window will remain open from November 23 to November 26, 2026.
JEE Main 2027 Session 1 will be held on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2027. The exam opens the gateway to NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). It is also the qualifier for JEE Advanced, the entrance test for the IITs.

JEE Main 2027 Application Fee
The application fee varies by category, gender, and the number of papers chosen. Candidates must pay the fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Papers Offered Under JEE Main 2027
The examination is conducted in two papers for different undergraduate programmes. Candidates can appear for one or both papers based on their career goals.
- Paper 1 (BE / BTech): For admission to engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.
- Paper 2A (BArch): Covers Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing for architecture aspirants.
- Paper 2B (BPlanning): Covers Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning-based questions.
