JEECUP 2026 Round 1 choice filling has begun at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can register and lock choices till June 30. Round 1 seat allotment will be released on July 1. A seat acceptance fee of Rs 3000 is required.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has opened the Round 1 choice filling window for the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic (UPJEE) 2026 counselling on the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Qualified candidates can now register, pay the counselling fee, and lock their preferred institutes and branches for seat allotment.
The Round 1 registration and choice filling window will remain open till June 30, 2026. The first seat allotment result is scheduled for July 1, 2026. The counselling will be conducted in five rounds across two phases.
JEECUP 2026 Round 1 Key Details
Candidates must pay a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 3,000 during registration. The payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI on the official portal. Candidates can add multiple institute and branch choices available under their eligible group.
Seat allotment will be based on the JEECUP 2026 rank, category, choices filled, and seat availability. Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must choose Freeze or Float before reporting for document verification.

Documents Required for JEECUP 2026 Counselling
Allotted candidates must carry original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the reporting centre. Missing documents may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

Candidates can complete Round 1 registration and choice filling by following these steps:

- Click on the Round 1 registration link and enter the JEECUP 2026 application number and password.

- Pay the Rs 3,000 seat acceptance fee through any online payment mode.

- Lock the choices before the deadline and save the confirmation page.
Choices not locked before the deadline get auto-locked by the system. Once locked, choices cannot be edited during the same round. Candidates should arrange their preferences carefully before submitting them.
