COMEDK 2026 BTech Mock Round Choice Filling from July 11 to 13 at comedk.org; Check Direct Link and Steps

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will open the Mock Round choice filling window for the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 BTech counselling from July 11, 2026.

As per the official notification on the COMEDK website at comedk.org, the window will start at 9 AM on July 11 and close at 4 PM on July 13, 2026.

The mock round is a practice exercise. It lets registered candidates enter and rearrange their college and branch choices. Based on these choices, COMEDK will publish an indicative seat allotment. This preview is non-binding and does not confirm any seat.

Only candidates who completed registration and document verification by June 30, 2026 are eligible. Fresh registrations are not being accepted for this round.

What Is the Mock Round in COMEDK Counselling?

The mock round is a rehearsal before the actual Round 1 seat allotment. Candidates can fill up to 300 college-branch choices in order of preference. COMEDK then runs a trial allotment on these inputs.

The result shows the likely college and branch a candidate could secure at the current rank. Students can then edit their preferences before the real Round 1 opens. No seat is booked or blocked in the mock round.

How to Fill Choices in the COMEDK 2026 Mock Round?

Registered candidates can follow the steps below during the July 11 to July 13 window.

• Visit the official website at comedk.org.
• Click on the UGET 2026 counselling login link.
• Enter the User ID and password created at registration.
• Open the choice filling tab under the mock round section.
• Select preferred colleges and BTech branches from the seat matrix.
• Arrange the choices in order of priority using the reorder option.
• Save the choices and submit before the deadline of 4 PM on July 13, 2026.

Why Should Candidates Take the Mock Round Seriously?

The mock round reveals gaps in a candidate's preference list. A weak or short list may lead to a low-preference seat in Round 1. Editing the list after the mock helps students plan a smarter final entry.

COMEDK has clarified that the mock allotment is only indicative. It does not fix any seat and is not binding on the consortium or candidates.
