Bihar UGEAC 2026 Seat Matrix Out; Choice Filling Opens June 26

BCECEB has released the Bihar UGEAC 2026 Seat Matrix at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Online choice filling for Round 1 begins on June 26 and closes on July 1, 2026. The first allotment result will be declared on July 4, 2026.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC) 2026 Seat Matrix. The document is now available on the official website. The board published the seat matrix on June 23, 2026, along with the UGEAC 2026 rank card.

The seat matrix provides college-wise and branch-wise seat availability for admission to government engineering colleges across Bihar. Admissions will be conducted based on JEE Main 2026 scores.

Candidates can download the seat matrix PDF from the official UGEAC 2026 notice board available on the BCECEB portal.

Of the total seats available, 85% are reserved for Bihar domicile candidates, while the remaining 15% are allotted under the All India Quota. Reservation within the state quota will be implemented as per Bihar Government norms.

The UGEAC 2026 Seat Matrix is a category-wise and branch-wise distribution chart that helps candidates plan their college and branch preferences effectively.

Name and code of participating government engineering colleges.
List of B.Tech branches offered by each institute.
Sanctioned intake for every branch.
Category-wise seat distribution across General and reserved categories.
State Quota (85%) and All India Quota (15%) seat breakup for each branch.

How to Fill Choices for Bihar UGEAC 2026?

The choice filling process will begin on June 26, 2026. Candidates must complete the process using their UGEAC login credentials.

Log in using your UGEAC User ID and Password. Click on the Choice Filling link under UGEAC 2026. Select preferred colleges and B.Tech branches. Review all selected choices carefully. Lock the choices before July 1, 2026.

Important: Choices not locked before the deadline will be auto-locked by the system, and no further modifications will be allowed.

Who Is Eligible for Bihar UGEAC 2026?

To participate in the counselling process, candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions mentioned in the UGEAC 2026 Prospectus:

Must possess a valid JEE Main 2026 score.
Must be included in the UGEAC 2026 merit list.
Bihar domicile is mandatory for admission under the 85% State Quota.
Must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.
