Bihar UGEAC 2026 Counselling Schedule Released at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in; Check Choice Filling Dates

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the UGEAC 2026 counselling schedule for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in Bihar. The schedule is available on the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Choice filling for Round 1 will begin on June 26, 2026, and candidates can submit and lock their preferences until July 1, 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on July 4, 2026.

BCECEB had earlier published the UGEAC 2026 Rank Card and Seat Matrix on June 23, 2026. Candidates are advised to review the seat matrix carefully before selecting their preferred colleges and branches.

The UGEAC counselling process is conducted on the basis of JEE Main 2026 scores and is used for admission to government engineering colleges in Bihar.

Who Can Take Part in UGEAC 2026 Counselling?

Only candidates possessing a valid UGEAC 2026 Rank Card can participate in the counselling process. Applicants must also have a valid JEE Main 2026 score and satisfy the Bihar domicile requirements prescribed by the state government. Additionally, candidates must complete the biometric verification process.

How to Fill Choices for UGEAC 2026?

The choice filling process allows candidates to select their preferred engineering colleges and branches. Seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's rank, category, preferences, and seat availability.

Follow these steps to fill choices online:

• Visit the official BCECEB portal.
• Click on the UGEAC 2026 Choice Filling link.
• Log in using your roll number and password.
• Select your preferred colleges and branches in order of priority.
• Review all selected choices carefully.
• Click Lock Choices and enter your password.
• Download and save the locked choice sheet for future reference.

How to Unlock and Edit Choices?

Candidates can modify their preferences before the July 1, 2026 deadline. To make changes:

Click on Unlock Choices. Edit the list of preferred colleges and branches. Review the updated preferences. Lock the choices again to save the changes. Only the final locked version will be considered for seat allotment. No modifications will be allowed after the choice filling deadline.
