Jharkhand MBBS Admission 2025 is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Admission to the MBBS course in Jharkhand is done through a state-level counselling process based on the NEET scores of a candidate.
NTA conducted the NEET exam on May 4, 2025. The Jharkhand MBBS NEET counselling is conducted for 85% of the state quota seats of Jharkhand. The MCC NEET counselling will be done for 15% of AIQ seats.

Jharkhand MBBS Admission Process 2025
MBBS Admission in Jharkhand is based on the NEET 2025 scores of a candidate and a counselling session, conducted by the JCECEB Jharkhand. The Jharkhand NEET counselling form will be open after the NEET results have been released. Candidates have to apply for the counselling session online. They have to fill up the application form and provide the necessary documents to successfully submit the form. A merit list will be released by the board based on NEET UG scores and candidate claims.
Candidates with admission recommendations have to report at the allocated college along with original documents for verification. Failing to do so will result in the failure of candidature. Candidates can check the application fee in the following table.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable counselling fee to appear in the counselling processes. For General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II, it is INR 1000. For SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories, the fee is INR 500. Divyang candidates of any category are not required to pay any counselling fees. Candidates also have to pay security money at the time of counselling for admission to MBBS courses. The security fee can be checked in the following table.

Jharkhand MBBS Admission 2025: Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks. For SC, ST and OBC (NCL) category candidates, the required marks are only 40%. For PwBD candidates also, the required marks are 40%.
- Candidates must be from the Science stream with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English subjects. They must have scored minimum marks in these subjects as mentioned in the regulations.
- Candidates must have a valid NEET scorecard.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens and Local/Permanent residents of Jharkhand.
