Bharati College Faculties : Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 106 Reviews

The faculty at Bharati College is highly qualified and known for providing practical examples to enhance learning. They are fluent in both English and Hindi, making them accessible to a wide range of students. The college offers a variety of co-curricular activities, including annual and sports events, which are organized by the faculty. The faculty is supportive, approachable, and involved in various student societies like NSS, NCC, and women empowerment.

Despite having a few administrative staff issues, the teaching faculty is generally well-regarded, with some professors praised for their dedication and teaching style. The college follows a semester system with six semesters over three years. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester, with internal assessments varying by professor. Some concerns include the faculty-to-student ratio and the lack of certain professors, which are attributed to external factors. The exam level is considered easy to moderate, with a curriculum that is relevant and straightforward.

Overall, the faculty is appreciated for their support and guidance, although improvements in certain areas are needed.

Faculty:

According to students faculty ratio is good but the faculty to student relationship is not that good some teachers are literally have very orthodoxic mind and some really really talks total blunt with the students. I like the journalism department that faculty is also good the teachers are very friendly and approachable. I don't like department of history as the faculty of history department are very rude very very rude and they are having really very old mind very orthodoxic mind. While teaching they really goes very personal.

There are different types of faculty members. Some are too strict to be true meanwhile others are totally strict. We have to finish a total of 7 papers each sem which has 22 credit points. Rarely students fail to follow the curriculum and only those who pay 0 attention

Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio is high. The relantionship of faculty to student is not that good as I've seen from many students. A very out of them is approachable. Many hardly cares about student's issues and are unnecessarily strict to the book. Mid-experience profs are very hard to deal with. Only some of the newest, just starting out their career of teaching and some of the very few senior most teachers are actually kind and care about their students. The exams are not low in no. but it is the least they can do so it is alright as per DU curriculum. Very few students fail to clear the exams but there should be nil in that category. The relevance of the course curriculum is not the best but it can be improved as it seems outdated a bit.

Faculty:

so faculty to student ratio is around four per department. There are 15 faculties over 400 500 ratio and faculty. Student is very comfortable and very approachable towards the faculties of faculties like Dr Akshat Pushpam because. He is very easily approachable. He easily understands the problem that student is going through and very flexible. I like him because due to my personal issue, didn't able to attend the college for almost 4 to 5 months. Due to this he he made sure I get the attendance. I am able to sit in the exam apart from anyone didn't like Sangeet Ramesh Ram Patel and the reason is the teaching methods. They are very monotonous. They don't make the study interesting for us, and I really don't like about them. There are total two exams in your per semester and few other IA and CA . And usually everyone clears the exam and the relevance of core curriculum is in more in theory practice not in practical. I usually don't see a scope and practical knowledge, but for having a practical knowledge, we have to do more extra courses.

1:6 could be the ratio , faculty was good it has always been supportive. Jaya yadav, Akansha , from english hons were 2 of my favourite faculties who always helped and guided me for the best . During my time there were 2 semester exams in each year for 3 years, and professors usually take 2 unit test, one as a written test and the other for presentation. This way they evolved us in both writing and speaking. Each unit test was for 10 marks .

Faculties are good . They help students when they require any help but strict to attendance and internal assessments. Exam system is something that like this you have to apprear in a exam according to your course because exam date and time are assigned according to course . Have to pass in internal and thoery both just like 12th standard.
