The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

Top Private College For BTech

Likes

I like the college structure , buildings and the space (campus area)
I like the teaching staff along with faculty members
I like the place where the college is situated as it has good mode of transport

Dislikes

I disliked that there are no Air conditioning in classes
Sometimes when we are late in comming to colege the gate is closed
There is a strict rule of 75% attendence which i dislike

Course Curriculum Overview:

The circulum provided in the college is a great one. Real time subjects which are needed by every individual are taught over here. The teachers are highly knowledgable in their field of teaching.They provide sufficient knowlede fo cracking exams.

Review of UEM by me

Likes

Things I appreciate most about this college is the commitment and seriousness of of the teachers towards the career of students
Exopser and the opportunities students get from this college is should be appreciated
The quality of laboratories of verious subjects is very good

Dislikes

I think the pressure of attendance that students have to face is unnecessary
The facilities for sports is very poor in this college

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is medium. It was better before but after the pandemic and ressetion the in this college decreased. Students who didn't get campus placement , they usually go for higher studies by qualifying GATE or CAT exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I myself have btech in cst and i would say its not that complex and its very easy to understand, yes you will face many problems in your first year but after first year, it will not be that bad as the pressure on students will decrease

Easy syllabus for first semesters clearing the basics
Regular events, coding competitions and tech fests
Classes teaching soft skills, and how to research and design things

Dislikes

80% attendance mandatory, it is too hectic and time consuming for students to pursue other things on side
100 students in a single section, the student to teacher ratio is bad, and the campus feels too crowded during lunch, recess
Academics pressure is too hard, mid semester exams have already started and it's hard to do anything else

Placement Experience:

I am not sure but I think from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant make more than 600 offers and almost 80% students are placed, the average is 8.83 lpa, the highest is 72lpa

Early to say, but very much excited

Likes

The size of each classroom in btech year is approximately 100 which gradually decreases as we ascend years. All teachers are attentive to each student which is very good.
The laboratories are well maintained and are enough for the students to learn the experiments.
Student can stay after college to take supplementary classes and also to do their own pending work and laboratory works.

Dislikes

Fixed college hours. We cannot leave before the dispersal time.
Not a dislike but discipline is taught highly here. Which is good for life values.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from there 3rd or 4th year. Mostly companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. find there way here and pick out the deserving stydents. Highest package recieved: 72lakhs Average packages offered are around 8 to 9 lakhs. After getting degree I plan on doing MBA, and help out in my family businesses and also plan on opening my own afterwards.

My College Life

Likes

One of the things that i liked about my college is that it provides good placement offers.
The pre-placement training sessions is also amazing.
Another thing is its good and knowledgeable faculty members who help the students everytime.

Dislikes

The college is very untidy and not hygenic at all.
The college canteen's food is not good and very unhealthy.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester ownwards, students are eligible for campus placements. There were many companies who visited the college, like TCS, PWC, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant and a huge number of startups. The highest package offered was of 21 LPA and the average package is of 5 LPA. Approximately, 60% of the students got placed in my year. I am currently working and have a plan to persue masters after 2 years.

Good education good jobs

Likes

The labs are very good and efficient.Single system or computer is provided to every student
Regular induction program conducted and famous HRs from diffrent IT companies are invited
Centralized Ac in all the labs and halls present in the campus

Dislikes

There is no dedicated playground.But the sports equipments are present in the basement for everyone
We cannot exit the college campus anytime we want to.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum are very good along with the core subjects the college curriculum includes important subjects that are required to crack and government job very easily like aptitude classes helps a lot for students. The overall curriculum gives complete knowledge of the core branch along with other important subject matter that is good for our progress.

Honest review of UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT KOLKATA

Likes

Canteens of this college is good and food quality is decent enough
This college has some facilities like ATM and indore games
Faculties are too good and their teaching skill is perfect and they are always ready to help you in your academics in any time

Dislikes

This college has too much fees as in compare to other engineering private colleges
Class rooms are not that much good and only lab rooms have been provided air conditioner
Some computers are not working in the lab rooms and this college is too strict for there attendance and for that reason students are not abel to do there extra curricular activities

This college provides you linked in learning, and coursera and some other application like autocad in free This college also have some extra subjects like history,geography which is not actually applicable in your b.tech course

I like studying in this college very much because the faculties are very good and helpful
Everything here is fine and ok the campus placement is also very good
The management team of this college was also very nice and they are also very helpful

Dislikes

Parking Facilities are not good Enough.

The faculties are helpful that's why they prepare the student so well that they also have the skills and experience un that subject and then get placement easily by cracking the interview . They also get a good knowledge in that subject

Truth of UEMK

Faculty behaviour, experienced faculty, all room are digital class room
Placement was good in this college... average package is 4.8 lakhs
Class room was good , lab are also perfect... specially computer lab was very impressive

Dislikes

Campus was small , no sports ground are there, no break between class start time to end time ..9 am to 5 pm
Hostel was far away from the college...not that type of hostel that are a type of tlat
Canteen also in the inside of the college,, cafeteria was very small ..

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the campus placement was 4th year. Means 7th semester the on campus placement was good in our college many companies like mind tree, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and many more some students lpa are 74 lakh and the average package are 4 to 5 lakhs. Highest package are 74 lakh..70 persent students are getting placement. My plan was to secure a job in a good company and larne that things..if some students don't get job our college give free classes of Gate and cat also UPSE for free

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
