The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

Excellent college, nice facilities.

Likes

The alumni network is very active and provides instant assistance.
Faculties are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Campus infrastructure is top quality and has all tyoes of facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We are provided with industry projects which acts as a resume booster and help us gain on the job training experience. Paid internships and certification courses are made to attend on a daily basis to help us achieve lacs of salary.

UEM Kolkata review

Likes

I just liked a few faculty who teaches well.
Affordable food during tiffin hours. Nothing more is accepted

Dislikes

Faculty are all bad barring only two or three.
College is like jail no freedom. Once you enter your cannot leave until end hours
Exam timings are so bad. There's too much pressure on students

I just chose this course because I had no other choice. Frequency and time of exams are very bad. When I joined, in the first year the semester came very fast. Like in 2 months of joining the exams started.

Clear and concise

Faculty member and studies and some subject
Some prof are very helpful when it comes to mentoring
Sports culture is very good in this college time to time sports tournaments has been conducted

Campus life is worst no exposer at all..
Only study is not a way to success this need to be understood by faculty members but not they are always like do this do that No sports No campus life No exposer Nothing
One thing I dislike about the college is its infrastructure. The college is compact and no open air environment is present.

Placement Experience:

UEM Kolkata is renowned for its placements and guidance. The college offers 90% placement assurance to its students all thanks to the excellent Placement Cell handled by Zico Sir. While the average package sits around 5 lakhs per annum, the highest package offered last year was 17lpa

UEM, gift for Students

Likes

Academic and focus on building core concepts for the future was the most outshining aspect of the University.
Faculty members and their cooperative nature was a blessing.

Dislikes

Things I generally disliked was the food in the cafeteria, and low availablity of seats.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in UEMK is active and helpful. I being in my 7th semester have already received an offer letter from Cognizant. Other industry leaders such as TCS Wipro PWC all come here for recruiting talent.

Life at UEM kolkata

Likes

Placement is very good in this college secondly the staff and faculty os also very good and helpful
The classroom are big and spacious, proper cleanliness is also maintained
Fees is of this college is not very much in comparison to many other colleges

Dislikes

Campus is very small in this college there are only 3 bulidings in this college
There is no campus life in this college very few feasts are held in this college
You have to ware college uniform and there is no campus facility available inside the campus

Placement in this college is very good companies like cognizant, TCS, godrej infotech, mind tree , Accenture, JP Morgan, Infosys busy this college fir recruitment of b.tech professional and you can get internship also

Likes

The faculty present there were good to us
Faculty of our college is great and highly trained
Infrastructure is great with proper instruments and labs

Dislikes

Campus life can be improve as there are too much restrictions
Timings are too lengthy and abrupt. Hard for them who stays far
The campus was a little small and have small ground area

After 6th semester placement has been start in this college for students and above 60% marks in 10th and 12th has been eligible for placement and 6+ cgpa in semester exam in college exam with no active backlog and top companies like TCSWipro cognizant Capgemini Infosys etc has been organised placement drive in this college and offered jobs

Life at UEMK

Likes

Helpful professors, seniors, good security
Placement department is really helpful and cooperative
Tons of events throughout the year makes it really fun

Dislikes

Lack of play area for study life balance
You cannot get out before the college ends at 4 .. not really negative but students who work it's a problem for them
Lack of free time inside the college campus

Placement Experience:

Highest package offered was Rs.72lpa.... there are like 20 to 25 companies that come for placement every year.. namely TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, Wipro.. avg pack is around 6lpa for freshers... Roughly around 50-55% students get placed ...some don't take up placement... Some prepare for masters.. some fly overseas... From 6th sem placement begins

My College Life

Likes

The college campus is absolutely ragging free
Teachers are always available for students
Computer lab arrangement is very impressive

Dislikes

Attendence pressure is very much. Low attendance may be cause of exam cancellation for astudent.
Classrooms are not containing air conditioner.
This college has many meaning less restrictions .the authority acts like school

We all know that it world is being totally AI based; that's why I choose computer science as higher study. Our faculties try very hard to learn us about our subjects we also try our level best I thik we will be enough prepared to get a job. In case of improvement I will say that teachers should be treat us well

Through the Student's Eyes.

Likes

The Library and the different labs are really in great condition.
Faculties are really helpful and different mentors are assigned to students to help them with various fields in their life.
Availability of stationery products and a shop inside the college campus really helps students.

Dislikes

A proper wifi system is not given to the students.
The college is not air conditioned, so the students feel extreme discomfort as we live in a place like Kolkata where there is excessive heat at most times.
Students are not allowed to exit the college once they have entered in the morning. This puts extra stress on the students.

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Mock interviews and group discussions take place to familiarise the students with the placement system. Different companies visits pir college every year, namely cognizant,tcs,jp morgan etc.

About My Collage

Likes

They provide a structural education . we don't need to take any tution after collage .
Most of the teachers are friendly , we can freely talk with them in any kind of topic and any kind of suggestion.
They provide section basis mentor so that we can easily complain about our problems .

Dislikes

They have very strict rule . they can't let you leave the campus before the end of collage time .
They gave so much pressure so that we can't manage all our works .
They don't approve to work in an internship, attendance is their first priority.

Placement Experience:

Nowadays the situation of placement is not so good Students can be eligible for sitting placement from the 5th semester. There are various companies named Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Flipkart, cognizant, Capgemini, etc. The highest package in our college is 72lpa. And the average package is about 5 lpa. The percentage of students getting placement is about 60. I would like to go for a master's after completing my degree.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
