Every year our college held internship fair which help students to grow and big companies recruiter also come to our college to give the placement opportunities to students.
Another thing that i liked is the financial affordability and the aids that the college is offering to the students who are not financially sound
Academics is great in my college. my college have best faculty of professor with great experience and knowledge

Dislikes

Placement - the rate of placement is low as compared toh other colleges
Most of the times the classes get cancelled by the teachers which causes discomfort for many students
The fees are quite affordable but still, it becomes a little difficult to afford for the students of very low academic economic backgrounds.

Likes

Overall infrastructure for sports and wellness is a major plus point.
Faculties are well qualified and all senior prof are PHD holders
Campus life, exposure and other peers are supreme quality

Dislikes

Cateen is not well managed. There's a lack hygiene
Washroom are not well managed. There's a lack of hygiene.
Seats and chairs are worn out and vintage.

Placement Experience:

We are offered with campus placements, average package lying between 6-7lacs per annum. Top package lies between 12-18lacs per annum depending upon the companies visiting the campus. Even a few number of reputed consulting firms and BIG4 comes for the placement season as well.

My Experience at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College

Likes

Affordability is a huge positive of this college. The tuition fees is minimal compared to private counterparts, and the college provides a good education for the cost.
Faculty of the college is very helpful. They care about students, and are ready to provide assistance whenever possible.
The college is located in a very well connected area in south delhi. There is a metro station right next to the college, and a bus stand at walking distance from the college.

Dislikes

Administrative issues are constant. Every document takes time to process, and there are constant delays in the working of administration.

Placement Experience:

The college offers decent college placements. The average package in Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma college is 5 LPA. Many companies (50+) are hosted during placement drives, including MNC's. The college provides good opportunities for both commerce and science backgrounds. The highest package offered in ARSD was 21 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to prepare for CAT exam, to provide a boost to my finance career.

ARSD UNFILTERED: FRIENDS, FUN, AND COLLEGE VIBES

Likes

Infrastructure like classrooms, library, labs, and canteen is good
The placement cell is active and helpful for commerce and some science courses
Most teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, especially if you approach them outside class

Dislikes

though it can feel limited sometimes because of a small campus size
teaching styles can feel very theory-based at times
The girls to boys ratio is roughly around 40:60, so more boys than girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the course curriculum around 7/10. I chose it because the core subjects are well-structured and useful for higher studies. The syllabus is mostly theory-based, so real-world skills depend a lot on internships and self-learning. Exams happen every semester with internals in between, and they’re manageable if you stay regular. The curriculum would be better with more practical work and interactive teaching.

The college environment is very good as you see so much space for playing and grounds

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exams is too short like we have been given only 3-4 months & as you know that the syllabus is very long which is quite tough to cover in just 3-4 months, we must be given atleast 6 months to cover the whole syllabus

The societies is very active in the college
Good infrastructure as compared to other colleges
Transportation services is also good like metro, bus etc all are available

Dislikes

The admin office is not good in the college
The hygiene of the canteen is not so good
The campus is very small as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

3 year student are eligible for campus placement, Deloitte, planet spark , prefferd square , IHG ,etc . The highest package is lakh and average package is 4 lakh. The 30% getting placement in current.

Life at ARSDC

Likes

I really liked the canteen very much. The food is good. The price is good and the quantity is also enough. There are plenty of seats in the canteen and even if seats are full there are other spaces near canteen where you can sit and have your meal.
I also liked the sports ground. You get access to equipments from the sports room. You can play with your friends a variety of sports from carrom to cricket, from table tennis to football almost all of the games.
I also liked the faculty members. All the teachers are good and supportive. They cater to the needs of the students and solve all the doubts. I also liked the seminar halls.

Dislikes

I didn't like the timings a bit. 8:30 classes are very hard to attend.
I didn't like that there is no auditorium in the college. We got two sem hall bit an auditorium would have been better.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements for the second semester. Many companies and startups come to our college. Last time at our internship and placement fair around 80-100 companies came. So the placement opportunity is good. You can get a pre placement offer if you are talented. Highest package last year was around 12 lakh per annum. Median package is around 5 lakh per year. Around 20% students of bcom get placed during their final years. I plan on doing MBA in marketing or finance after my bachelor degree. After that i would like to work for some time and start my own business of some kind.

ARSD: Better or Best

Likes

Experienced and cooperative faculty members
Clean and peaceful College campus along with beautiful lawn
College provide various kinds of opportunities by arranging various seminars on regular basis

Dislikes

College situated in over populated area on the highway
Hostel facility is not available and nearby accommodations are bit expensive
Food quality in the canteen is not up to the mark

Placement Experience:

Arsd college provide some placements to its students. The average package for UG courses is around 5 to 6 lpa. Some of the famous recruiter include big 4 like KPMG ,deloit, EY, PWC etc and many more companies.

Reality of Nirf 5 ranked ARSD college

Likes

There is a very friendly environment in the college. There are strict anti ragging protcols and the seniors are very helpful.
The faculty of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College is one of the best among all the Delhi University Colleges.
It is easily accessible through both metro and bus. There are also a lot of Pgs and Hostels in the vicinity of the college which makes it easier to commute.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure of the college can be improved as there is no auditorium and only 1 main seminar hall.
The equipments of the computer lab and the digital projectors of the classes are outdated and require upgradation.
The library of the college is not upto the mark with it standards. New and standardised books are not updated regularly which makes it difficult for students to access new study materials.

Placement Experience:

The students of the semester 5 and 6 are eligible for the placements. Companies like Ey, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, etc are the major recruiters. The highest package is around 12 LPA meanwhile the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 50% of students only sit in the placements and 70% among them secure placements. 50% like me do not sit in placements are they are preparing for competitive examinations.

Truth about college

Likes

The friend I made there are like family and so supportive
The faculty members are soo cooperative and soo linear
The teaching techniques of teacher are too good which clear all concepts easily to students

Dislikes

Time table or class schedules are soo hectic sometime

My course is b.com prog which is one of the best course offerd by Delhi University and our college provides many opportunities in this course such as intership and high placements from college and the teachers are highly specialised in their respective field

ARSD college has got NIRF ranking 5 which makes the college very beautiful and vibrant. You get people from every corner of india which makes the college very diversified.internship and placement opportunities are very much in the college.
Fees is very less in compared to what you get for that
College lies in the heart of Delhi which makes it connected to the city .

Dislikes

There is no hostel in the college for girls or boys
The college is not so big compared to some private institutions
There is no auditorium in the college but there are 2 seminar hall with seating capacity of 200

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is very good and there is a cell called placement cell and internship cell which work hard and hard to makes their student place in the big companies we have more 100 + recruiter which recruit from our college and mostly half of them are commerce and other half is science and arts graduate
