The college and govt provides various scolarships in support of the students like inspire scholarahip for she, the college provied financial assistance to ews students.
The faculty is also super talented and have a great knowledge.
Our annual fest tempest was one of the best times of my life with dj nights, neeti mohan, several stalls and the freedom of being in a gender minority college just made everything a million times better.

However, speaking for the political science faculty, although they are qualified, they are highly detached from the students.
Faculty somehow as it was sometimes not that good as we thought.
Apart from a few professors, the others methods of teaching are severely outdated and biased.

Great Infrastructure. Beautiful Campus. Lovely vibes. Clean washrooms. Air conditioners in a lot of classrooms
Tons of academic seminars being conducted. Workshops and conferences. Vibrant Campus Life. Opportunities to learn outside classroom.
So many societies and events happening. Not boring at all. Lots of extracurricular. Diversity in crowd.
Dislikes
Due to the time span of seminar, less time to cover syllabus.
So many students in one classroom. Learning can be a bit difficult.
Students have to figure out everything themselves. As in teachers won't guide you very very personally.

I guess from 2nd year, basically 3rd semester in which students become eligible for placements. Highest package last year was above 20 lakhs and starting from 5 to 10 lakhs. Miranda House has a dedicated intership cell, a community run by students and seniors. And top corporate companies are invited. There's also an entrepreneurial cell and a huge gala was conducted by the society in which top ceos were also invited. My plan is to apply for a postgraduate program in History only as I wish to become a professor.
From 3rd year onwards, students can apply for placements. There is a placement cell in the college too which helps students for internship and placement opportunities. On an average, placements are 10lpa and highest ones crossing 90lpa as well. Companies like bcg, kpmg, etc have visited the campus.
An inclusive environment which is respectful of each individual
Rigorous academic research and training.

Students are offered internship opportunities as well as job placement opportunities via the College Placement Cell. Packages of upto 20-25 LPA have been offered to students. Students become eligible for some opportunities from second year and for some, in the third year.
In Miranda House everything is perfectly fine the environment, infrastructure and college vibes are also familiar to me this place is like heaven to me.
I like roaming alone in my college without any fear of judgements and whatever I wear no one to judge me that is also perfectly fine .
My course faculties are all very experienced, and master in their fields .
Dislikes
The problem is that I am from a village but i don't know much english fluency in our class everyone taking in english I feel like pathetic event in the whole class sessions.
Our course facilities are very nice but the bad thing is that there are some facilities who belonged to North East so I am unable to understand their style of speaking .
I like everything in my college but bad thing is that I want one to one mentorship from our college course faculties to the students for acknowledged their growth.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I don't know any about sociology before the enrollment in college. As came in college I found its very difficult because I first time study it. But as the time passes evrything is alright and sociology became easy to me when Shivani mam teaches us and Sumedha ma'am teaches us. They use very simple language to explain us .
The best thing about Miranda House is its environment. The infrastructure, greenery all adds up to the beauty of my college. It was never a birden always a pleasure to be there.
Another thing that I liked about my college was the exposure that I received. Coming from a small town, anxieties was a common thing but seeing around, getting to know new things within the college was a cherry on top.
DU is famous for its cultural societies, so was Miranda. Creative, cultural, educational and whatnot it was a full package. It was a treat to be on campus and coming across all pf these and deciding to be a part of it or a mere spectator!

Right now I cannot remember anything that I disliked as such. But it would be better if they provided more seats for the incampus hostel. It would have been much better.

Since I am from Arts deparemt, there were not much options and I did not sit in the placements I cannot say much about it here.
Although there were seminars related to differents fellowship options such as Gandhi fellowship, Texah for India. Some people from my department got in them and they are doing fine as of now so yes there are option once your are in the campus you'll get to know about them.
Wi fi facilities is available in the college campus.
Labs are goods for doing experiments in the college.
Dislikes
AC facility is not available int he campus.
Sometimes we does not place calls inside college.
Sports ground is not that big where fests are done.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.
Basic Facilities required are present in the campus like print outs stationaries
Dislikes
A corner called pam stall in college gives decent food but a but pricy
Common room ac or fan mostly never works so no place to sit and work
Teachers are way too specific. For example our dept tezcher of a subject made me redo because my sheets were thin.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Zoology is something i believed i could do. I love the labs. I still do. The theory depends maybe yes. I hope my knowledge i aquire can come to some use for my country. Always was passionate about biology.
Friendly staff and faculty, most teachers are really nice to students
the campus is very quiet and calm, love the cats roaming the corridors
leniant attendance policy. Admin staff is mostly friendly.
Dislikes
Acs in very few classrooms and only on the third floor of library. Rest no acs anywhere.
The water dispenser is pretty bad. Washrooms are bad.
canteen tables are pretty bad. Prices in canteens have increased. A simple burger costs 65
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because of my interest in philosophy, however the curriculum has hugely disappointed me. So I would really not recommend this course to anyone, especially not in DU. Timing of exams is very poor. Semester exams are always either in scorching heat or frigid winter.
The infrastructure is beautiful, green and hygienic which creates a comfortable environment for students.
The environment is academic focused and has a healthy competition.
The Professors teach with detail and are very kind and cooperative.
Dislikes
The environment is only academic focused, not much lively
Being a girls' college, it's very inclusive and takes away the opportunity to build a wider network.
Placement Experience:
The highest placement from MH in 2024 was 24LPA and the average package was 8LPA. For maths 6 students were placed. If no campus placement is offered, doing masters in econ or stats and building your resume would help
Beautiful Gardens around the campus are so soothing that all the breaks that has come to my fore.
Our college is among one of the most scenic and even Bollywood has not stayed far as some movies have been shot at our campus.
Even for promotional event, a lot of guests come and garner support from our college students.
Dislikes
Since it's in all girls college, feminists ideas take over more than they should.

Since we are the smallest batch out of all the courses around 75% girls do get placed in physical fitness business. The gym culture is growing and also wellness companies as well. Hence this percentage will go up in few years time and I hope it happens by 2027 so that I can have a perfect role and job from our campus itself.
