Ans. Kalindi College B.Com is offered as a 3 Years Full Time program, with a total intake of 115 seats. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Com is 10+2 with CUET. Ans. Kalindi College started the Coaching classes for its registered SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) and Minorities students under the Merged Scheme of XI Plan, UGC. These classes were attended by enthusiastic students from these backgrounds, who showed keen interest in learning and benefited from professional coaching by experts from their respective fields. In addition to coaching classes, these students were provided study materials such as books/ computer facilities, news paper, competitive magazines and online resource materials etc. The faculty members of the college and some experts from outside, who have vast experience in their respective field were engaged as coordinator / instructor. The main focus of the resource person was to improve the area in which students face difficulties so that the students can compete in different exams. The periodical tests/review and the assessment reports were prepared by the resource persons and the students were apprised about their weakness.

Ans. The Students Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) at Kalindi College, constituted by the Staff Council in 2021, has the following role and functions. It is composed of teachers from various departments who shall act as the conduit between the administration and the students in effectively communicating grievances and redressing them. These grievances may pertain to any aspect of the students’ lives on the campus. In case it overlaps with the role of any other committee, the grievance shall be forwarded to the concerned committee. The grievances may be submitted online through the online form on students’ grievances available on the college website. They may also write to the committee directly at [email protected]. In the offline mode, students may post their grievances in a box kept outside the Principal’s room.
