BE (Cyber Security) at RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), Bangalore is a 4-year full-time undergraduate engineering programme affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and approved by AICTE. Fee Structure

• The management quota fee of Rs. 6,00,000 per year is inclusive of VTU fees, other charges, and skill development training fees as per the official RNSIT fee structure for 2026-27.
• Books fees, uniform fees, and examination fees are NOT included in the above and must be paid separately.
• Hostel fees are extra and not mandatory (not included in total fees above).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics.
• General category candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the optional subjects (PCM/PMCS/PME/PMBT/PMB); SC/ST candidates of Karnataka require a minimum of 40%.
• Candidates must have a valid score/rank in KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main for admission. Candidates without any of these scores may appear for the RNSAT (RNSIT's own entrance test) for management quota eligibility.

Admission Process

• Appear for KCET (for CET/government quota seats) or COMEDK UGET (for COMEDK quota seats) or JEE Main.
• Register on the KEA portal (for KCET) or COMEDK portal and complete document verification.
• Fill in college and course preferences during the option entry/choice filling phase.

Scholarship Details

• For RNSIT Merit Scholarships (Tier 1 and Tier 2), students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 and 8.0 respectively from the 2nd year onwards to continue receiving the scholarship.
• SSP scholarship applications are submitted through ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in.
