Likes
- The college has an open campus with a lot of greenery and lots of barren land on which the authorities are constructed new building and facilities. The college is rapidly growing.
- The college has a great very big Library in which you'll find almost every book related to Engineering and you can go there to study at anytime.
- The college has its own food court and you'll find Vending machine throughout the campus and the whole campus has a high speed Wi-Fi.
Dislikes
- The college has strict 75% attendance policy.
- The marking scheme is good and you can get marks quite easily but you need to be regular in the classes and especially labs.
- The college has a hectic schedule with many assignments and projects.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this college and branch because I had interest in Cyber Security. The curriculum prepares you for competition and real world applications and they also have placement training from 3rd years. The frequency of internal examination is quite high. For example, in a semester, a student has to give 3 internals in which the best 2 will be considered to give marks.
Internships Opportunities
I cannot give the answer to this question as I'm a 1st year student and don't know much about it. The last year highest stipend was around 80k per month for a student by Cred. Students have to prepare a project at the end of 1st year.
Placement Experience
The student becomes eligible for campus placement from 3rd year. Cred, Amazon, Adobe etc are some companies that have hired students of our college. The percentage of students places are approximately 40-50 percent. I plan to do Masters after getting this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a COMEDK student and my fees is same for all the 4 years. We also need to give examination fees at the end of each semester for End-Sem exams. There are also some extra expenses. I have not taken any roles but I'm part of the sports club of my college and I am not paid to do job.
Campus Life
The college has fests like Pantheon, Agones etc. The library has almost every book required in the library. Every class and projectors and white screen for presentation. The college has its own Sports Club and it frequently organises competition for the students and also participated in various inter college tournaments. Cricket, Football, badminton, table tennis, basketball etc.
Admission
You can get admission through COMEDK, KCET or Management Quota and their fees varies. I gave COMEDK and secured 14442 rank and got this college. You can find the application form for COMEDK on its official website.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:30 and the teachers are easily approachable in or out of the class. Every student has a mentor in the 1st and 2nd year who can be contacted at any time if any problem arises inside or outside the college.
