Is GH Raisoni College better than YCCE?

GHRCE( autonomous) is indeed a better college than YCCE. The following are some of the points:6 Months internship in the 8th semester is a boon that is not there in YCCE.Neither colleges have good faculty, so I guess technical education from college does not matter.There are many such facilities in GHRCE, such as AMCAT, Elitmus, which are compulsory for students from the 2nd year at a subsidized rate, while in YCCE, it's optional, that too, for the final year.Placements are not good in either college, so both are on the same level. It's just that YCCE manages to get more companies.In terms of technical work. GHRCE has more patents in the entire Maharashtra after IITB.

My Honest GHRCE Experience

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

G H Raisoni College of Engineering One Stop Review

College offers very good campus placements. Most of the big mass recruiters like Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture comes here. There are some big MNCs like J P Morgan and PwC recruits from the very start of placement season. Average package here is around 4 to 5 LPA and more than 50% of the students gets placed even in recession. I have 2 offer letters currently, one from GlobalLogic - Hitachi and other one is Cognizant.

GHRCE_EYE_OPENER

On campus placements are happening each year from the college. Students from 7th semester are eligible to apply for 6th months internships and few of them gets PPO from the company.In 8th semester, students are appearing in on campus placement drive.Company like TCS, Infosys, Accenture,Cognizant,etc are comming in college for hiring students. These company takes mass hiring .Over 55% students are placed from college and about 25% students are placed off campus.Highest placements from last year is about 1300000 per annum , I think that was an off campus placement.Average package is about 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs per annum.I am studying from placements and I will opt placements whether it is on campus or off campus.

Placement of this clg higher package is 47 LPA in last year and students get internship in third year or fourth year companies are come in the clg and average package is 10 to 12 LPA in raisoni college
